Those are my bias in the world of K-Pop~~~ I was also shocked when I searched pictures of SHINee that their songs are not original!!!

• The songs were written by songwriters in big companies and then they got a vocalist to sing the song for them as a demo. It’s part of the package that comes when you are selling a song to someone, you have to show them what it fully should sound like melodically and rhythmically. There are one or two that were “flop” American chart songs.

  I will admit, I would prefer for their songs to be written by SM composers or even by themselves. I don’t agree in the amount of songs SM buy from other people, so I think the best bet there would be to invest in some more composers within the company. But I wish people would stop criticising the boys for it, in reality, they have no choice over what songs they record. Its at the company’s choice.
