• Active reader and writer in general. My update speed is absolutely slow, that's why I prefer writing one-shots.
• I've always, always fallen hard for main vocalist. [Except for a very very few groups.]
• I really hate someone who'd like to talk about how great their favourite singer's singing technique. Do some retired tenor or soprano train them? If you want a perfect vocalist, listen to opera instead. Their techniques are the best. 
• I just hoped someone could understand the art of beautiful singing

Currently spazzing over Group S's Mini Album - Autumn Breeze...

My favourite vocalists have similar colour of voice : airy, light with belted notes...and a bit nasally except for a few ones that I love because of their lower, darker tones.

Female vocalist :

Jessica : Taeyeon has more pleasant tone to general public but Jessica's ballads are amazing.

BoA : She knows her potential and limit. That's make her voice enjoyable.

Kiyoe Yoshioka : She has a very feminine voice yet it doesn't get pitchy in your ears

Takada Kozue : I love her timbre.

Maria Callas : La Divina! Once you've heard her singing, you couldn't help but comparig her to others! Once you SEE the rare videos which the opera got documented, you won't be able to forget that voice, that acting, THAT expression! She was a complete artist. The Greatest of Alltime.

Male vocalist :

Jonghyun : His tone, his musicality. Once I've hear him singing, he's always reminded me why I still support SHINee. He's very confident and chatterbox. 

Changmin & Yunho : I like their harmonisations. I love their dance songs, their cheering songs, their ballads even the weird songs. They could sing everything and I would still loving them.

Zhou Mi : I replay his solo in BREAKDOWN over and over. (I normally don't listen to Suju. But I listen to BREAKDOWN, that album is amazing!)

Kazusou Oda : No Regret Life's vocalist. The only rock voice that I love. I generally leave the harsh electronic and rock but No Regret Life and m.o.v.e are my guilty pleasure.

Hyesung : His timbre is amazing. I don't like Yesung's but surprisingly I love Hyesung's (Their timbre are similar!). I love his high notes and his darker notes. I like when he's all handsome but I love his awkward, adorable, clumsy nature. (The fact that this handsome fellow is fifteen years older than me. How a man his age still so cute is beyond me!)

 

Sorry for the random post. I'm still high listening to Ji Hoo, Kangta, and Hyesung harmonisation in One Last Memory. In fact I got better scores in Anipang while listening to Autumn Breeze!.
