About Me

So, I'll start with the basics.  My name is Sabina.

I am 100% Korean, and PROUD OF IT!

School:  I only like school because it'e where I can be myself.  The time I spend at school with friends is the best time of my day.  I try hard to be a good student and get good grades, but my obsession with writing and all things K-pop make that increasingly difficult.

Sports:  I play varsity tennis, run track and field , I used to play soccer, and used to swim.  I'm most dedicated to tennis out of anything.  I love being on the court and playing.  Swinging a giant racket around is one of the ways I vent my feelings.

Music:  I play violin, viola, piano, guitar, and I sing.  I've been playing violin for about 7 years and just picked viola back up after 2 years because my chamber group needed a violist.  I don't take piano anymore, but I do play and sight-read in my spare time.  I taught myself guitar and have been singing since I could talk.  I love singing the most out of anything, and if you want to hear me, go ahead and message me and I'll send you a link.

Literature:  Writing has always been my forte.  Any English or Language Arts class I have ever taken has ended up being my favorite subject.  It's my way of expressing myself, and I'm sure a lot of you can relate to that.  I love reading, too.  Some of my favorite books include "Pride and Prejudice," "Great Expectations," "Cutting For Stone," "The Help," and of course the legendary series - "Harry Potter" and "The Hunger Games."

General:  I'm pretty chill for a Korean.  Everyone always assumes that all Asian kids have tiger moms and are super uptight and only care about grades.  Nope, that's not me!  I'm your typical American teenager!  I love talking to people...though most of the time my conversations turn into mini rants about Korean guys.  I am extremely confident, sometimes leading to me coming across as conceited or big-headed.  I try to avoid drama at all costs, so I tend to veer away from any kind of romantic relationships with any guy.  Having guy friends is the best, but for me, having a boyfriend seems unnecessary.

Biases:  In most cases, I think people have more than one bias, am I right?  The exact same goes for me!  All my biases are idols with talent - Kyuhyun, Yesung, Eunhyuk, Jonghyun, Taemin, Hyungsik, Hongki, Yonghwa, Lee Minho, Jaejoong, Xiah Junsu, Woohyun, etc.  I listen to Super Junior, SHINee, TVXQ/DB5K, Rain (Bi), Infinite, ZE:A, CNBLUE, FTISLAND, etc.  I have zero tolerance for bands like Teen Top and Boyfriend.  I know that a little unorthodox for a K-pop fangirl, but there you go.  I dislike girlbands.  A LOT.  So I stick with listening to GOOD boybands that actually know how to sing.
