UNA BELLA VITA.

Born into two conglomerates that are completely different in background, Sohee has spent all her life walking on a flimsy tightrope wire, juggling the wishes and whims of her mother, her father, and their families.

Sohee's mother comes from a long line of ancestry that has dwelt in the art scene of Korea for as long as anyone could ever know. Both visual and performing — they dominate the entertainment industry by monopolizing shares of the biggest grossing agencies to date, all the while maintaining a prominent name in finer arts, having built the largest gallery chain in all of asia. Father, contrary to, is a man of science. His family consists of prized scientists, renown doctors and just smart men in general. They own one of the leading research institutions in the world and manage a few private hospitals in Korea's larger cities. Some have also branched out to politics, further strengthening their influence on people, sealing their deal on power.

United by an arranged marriage, here is where sohee comes to the picture. Jack of all trades, master of none would be the perfect term to describe her. sohee inherits a balance between the two, having nothing in particular standing out. She is an excellent student, grades decent enough to get her through honor classes— just not valedictorian. An exceptional dancer, she lacks finesse and passion to be able to become prima ballerina at the tender age of seventeen, just like her mum.

Currently, twenty-one year old Sohee is attending her pre-med courses in (her father's) hopes of becoming a doctor. She continues to dance — gone are the expectations but not the pressure, it's ironic how much dancing can give Sohee freedom but it is the same thing that traps her in the shadows of her parent.
