Born in a mix-blooded family consisting of a Korean mother and an American father, Ella was oftenly mistaken that she had lived life on a silver platter. After all, she had the beauty and brains, always being the top scorer in school and oftenly adored by many teacher though she barely had any friends in school, being the victim of wangtta. Graduating high school and growing even further apart with her parents due to their workaholic personality, Ella decides to take the road on her own and works as a barista, living in a studio apartment located at the suburbs of Seoul. After gaining her courage and self-confidence, she sent in resumes to a few modelling companies and eventually got selected by two companies, working part-time for the two companies while she works full time as a barista.
Eventhough she oftenly appears bright and friendly at all occasions, she has trust issues and oftenly shuts people out whenever she feels that they are breaching her privacy. Ella prefers to keep things to herself rather than spilling the beans to a person who would probably leave her alone in the end, or so she figures.Even so, she still makes herself appear amiable as to avoid questions she would never want to answer anyway.
