Park Jaebeom was a regular college student, popular, musically talented, and comfortable with all types of people, with a really close group of friends. They did everything together, but Jay felt a part from the others because of one thing: he was a little bicurious. He'd always been into girls, but lately he started to wonder what it would be like with a guy. To add to his problems, he had started falling for his long time best friend, Kim Minjun. Unable to hold back one day, Jay kissed Minjun, but Minjun couldn't accept Jay's feelings, leaving the friendship between the two damaged compared to their former friendship. To make the situation worse, Minjun told the others about the encounter. While the group was close, the boys weren't very open to Jay's feelings, even if it didn't affect the rest of them. Feeling betrayed, Jay separated himself from his former friends, deciding he would rather hang out with people he could be open with. It was after this decision that he got a letter in the mail about a recent scientific project, the creation of "Kittens", genetically altered humans, and was invited to stay in a mansion where people would be more "open" to Jay's recently changed ual orientation, which brought Jay here.
