I am in a dilemma. I have this idea for a new story but I haven’t even finished my debut – current – story. The question is, should I just create a new story or

Even if you keep writing you current story you'll have the new story's ideas hammering and messing and with your old story and it'll maybe take it to somewhere else that you didn't expect, to adding things that you didn't envision for it. I would do that, but it's all up to you and what you think is more comfortable. :)
