When people find out my first kiss was with a girl they freak out and start making disgusted faces. But when I explain that thanks to that experience I now know that I don't like girls, that I'm actually straight, they relax. I still wonder sometimes how they would react I were actually lesbian

I'm Demiual and have gotten a lot of hell for it. Especially from my dad. He used to tell me I was less than human when he thought I was gay or bi but I'm a freak for being Demiual because "instant ual attraction is normal and there must be something wrong with me for not feeling it." Ive been called a lot of hurtful names for falling for people of both genders as I grew up both from my peers and my family and its messed up.

This girl forced me choose: lesbian, gay, biual, or heteroual. And harassed me for 2 days straight for my identity.

I consider myself Demiual and I let people know about it at school, but there were people who said that my uality was non existent, fake, and weird. And there were others that were okay, but I could tell they looked at me in a different way.
