one quick question! So as a reader, Which one do you prefer? [using a name or 'you' when you read a story. Should i use 'you' or just put some random name? help

This reminds me when I started out with an OCxIdol fanfic. I had no clue on how to write OC's at that time, so I literally put "____" AHAHAHAHA
So you'd read something like this:
____ walked outside, breathing in the fresh air.
"____." ____ turned around and saw her crush walk in.

But anyway, I prefer name, but either one works for me.
