For me author nim, I vote "D" That it never happened, all of it created in Tao's mind.
If that happen, tao for me is having a nightmare or something psychological dissease and all of that dreams of him will be turn to be opposite in what happen to him now. That he have a caring parents and support him cuz of his dissease. Kris will be only in his mind until his parents decide to find tao a personal psyhchiatrist and that will be Wu Yifan or others call them Doctor Kris. For that will maintain the psychological theme that start in kris that only in his dreams appear to real life situation that kris is his psychiatrist and will ready to help him to his treatment. This is just for my suggestion authornim coz your story makes me feel alive and happy hahaha. I like the plot of the story. Thanks for sharing us a wonderful fic :D

We have both Tao and Kris speaking so perhaps Tao realizes he needs to escape - and does, while Kris finally realizes all his lovers leave him. His strategies and stalking don't work. He either goes mad with the realization of how small and weak he really is ... Or he falls victim to someone who is stronger than he is - and learns the hell one goes through when they are the one being dominated, controlled, stalked. Maybe Kris gets away, gets help and then bumps into Tao and can genuinely apologize
