I think it should be 'still alive instead secretly alive he 'died' but alive again. Secretly alive means he wasn't dead and he knows it. So i choose reincarnate, means he comes alive again, but I also didn't agree if baek will be another person and don't recognize chan (it will be so sad TT)

yeah, im with @sweetlolipop and @petrinananana. Channie's symbol IS a bird in fire, a.k.a phoenix, right? So it'd be pretty logical that baek could reincarnate (since he was already better when summoning a familiar than D.O, who was way older than him. It just has to mean that baek is somehow more special or sth?)

I agree it make more sense in a way that he should reincarnate with the concept of the phoenix and it's kinda weird in this story if is still alive

Actually I think kiba_Phoenix idea is good like maybe he die but since chayeol is a Phoenix or something he reborn Phoenix didn't reborn immediately supposedly or he could be alive and hide in somewhere like kyungsoo was I mean the king didn't kill Luhan because of that but if he didn't die and isn't immortal shouldn't he be like 40 so nah oooh I know he didn't die but got like suspended in time and some mystical creature cure him but to wake up he needs something with the prophecy and lu
