My opinion- JJproject might be the more popular ship but for this story I see a deeper connection between Youngjae and Jinyoung's character. Unlike if either of them were to date Jaebum, they can both rely on each-other emotionally. Meanwhile Jaebum, as he is now in the story, is good looking, but he has a lot of deep problems that not even him standing up to his parents will fix. He doesn't see the people he sleeps with in the right way, not as long term partners, and it would take awhile to fix that. The fact he doesn't feel the amount of anguish he should over some of the things he does, or even realize that some of it IS hurtful shows just how removed he is from those relationships.
