I think it's your decision, but i personally am always disappointed and sad when an author deletes a story or leaves it uncontinued..

Honestly, I'd say that it's up to you. Personally, I'd say try to stick with it but speaking as an author I know how hard it can be to stick with a story that you've lost interest in or that you're just having trouble with. Maybe just mark it as Draft while you try and sort everything out? No matter what you decide, good luck ^^
