Hi, just wanted to let you know thay I recently purchased your book from amazon and I will be leaving a review in a few days. i also left a (pretty lengthy) post in your wattpad account. I hope you’d get to read it. Also, just want to say here as well how wonderful this story is—all versions of it. Truly worth it to read. Again and again. ❤️
Chapter 26: Just want to drop by to say that I couldn't help to feel cautious every now and then because I just know that the ending will not be that sunshine and rainbow. And this chapter is about sunshine and rainbow ???
Chapter 87: OMG,,, i subbed to this fic since 2015 and eagerly was waiting for it’s completion.. then i left kpop because i grew out of it and I CAME RIGHT BACK AND DOWNLOADED THE APP AGAIN BECAUSE OF JONGIN IN LOVE SHOT AND I NEEDED A JONGIN FIC AND OMGGGGGGG I CANT AT THIS FIC U MADE ME CRY AND ANGRY AND HAPPY the ending was so satisfying, and also you spoke about liking drama HAHAH!! Tea is never always just tea!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHFFJDKSDJN ok thanks for the ride it was a good one
I just spent all night reading this and I must say it was worth it. This is one of, if not- the best fanfic I've ever read. I cry and laugh along with every chapter and the ending is so fitting, so beautiful. Thank you so much for writting this story. I'm looking forward to your work in the future!
Chapter 18: Now I feel like Joonmyeon is one of those people who talks innocently but have underlying messages that cuts like a knife ...Why do I feel like Joonmyeon's character wont be pleasant?
Chapter 17: Before reading this comment, just wanna say that i have nothing against the story nor the author. Just wanna state an opinion about So Eun’s mindset. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. Please dont hate me.
“I wonder how much all this silk cost... I could probably use that money to help a displaced family buy a new house...”
“... she did think all the riches that now filled this house could have been put to much better use instead of being wasted on useless displays that were merely there to make things look pretty.”
Those things you call “useless”, “waste” and were just “displays that were merely there to make things pretty” fed the people who probably worked more than 24 hrs just to create such fine, elegant, and pretty hanbok. It fed the people who were being paid for their labor. It fed the people who spent days and nights just to produce those displays that filled the house. It fed the people who hauled the raw materials of those riches from the plant to the dealer.
This is kinda disappointing to be honest. Capitalism and welfare mentality are two different things. When you buy something, you put money in people’s pockets, and give them dignity and respect for their skills.
“Capitalism is freely giving your money in exchange for something of value. Socialism is taking your money against your will and shoving something down you throat that you never asked for.” I’ve read this somewhere and I couldn’t possibly agree more.
People have to realize that shoving something to other people’s throat robs them off their dignity and self worth. There’s nothing wrong with giving, but know your limitations. Let people stand up on their own and let them learn how to be independent. Let them have their self worth back because in the real world, not everything will be spoon fed to them.
Point is, capitalism is not entirely atrocious. If you buy something, you help those people who created it. You pay them for their labor and their skills.
PS. Again, I have nothing against the author nor the story. In fact, i love this story a lot because i’m learning so much from this. Just kinda disappointed with the way So Eun thinks (Even though I know it’s not real and everything is just for the sake of the story) and I just want people to be open minded and not think of every single thing negatively (particularly capitalism cuz there may be downsides but there’s always something benefiting in it — tho not a lot)
Anyway, i love your story so much author. I’m so thankful i stumbled upon this masterpiece. Good reads on aff are rare these days :( Thank you for creating sich a wonderful story!
