If you're not gonna say anything nice, can you just please don't read this? This is a ing fanfiction. The author can write anything they want. It's their own story. Why bother reading if all you do is talk trash about this? If a lot of things in this story bother you because most of them are not true, well news flash! This is a FANFICTION! If you want to read facts,make your own or better yet read others' stories!
I hate it how you comment negative thought on this story but still keep reading. Just shut it, okay?!
Chapter 36: "their DNA was bred inaccurately" ...how? how the did that happen? all the explanations in this damn thing are surface level as is but this, this is too stupid. these panthers crave human meat because their DNA was bred inaccurately? huh? how did that happen? how does that make sense? this is seriously your reason for justifying genocide? for something they couldn't even control? and it's clear the weres hate humans, and think they're stupid. why should they care if humans die? why do their lives matter?
and also did we REALLY have to go through 34 ing chapters of problematic views of shaming just for this? this could've been resolved way earlier. or, now here's a crazy idea...there could've been a less contrived conflict. god this story infuriates me so much, but I think this chapter is the peak of stupid.
there were some good tidbits before, like the description of lightposts in the rain, or the taste of the apple after Areum bit it and Jackson starting eating it. i thought i could get through the rest of this if it meant more good tidbits like that. but now, the stupid has outweighed any good qualities this story has. this has to be one of the most phoned in, half assed fantasies i've ever read.
Chapter 34: "having a human mate is supposed to be super rare, but the readers clearly shipped them together" so...you messed up the continuity of your own lore just to pander? that would explain a lot.
Chapter 28: "We were destined for each other but not through mutual like. It was all planned out by some high force. Do you know how ed up that is?" Don't you love it when the main character points out 90% of the flaws of the story in universe?
Chapter 25: "You've tried to cop a feel on her so many times, I don't know how you don't have a restraining order" me either honestly. this er should be arrested. i don't care if he's apparently "nice" now, this sudden turn is not enough to erase his actions. he should be held accountable. all of them should be held accountable.
Chapter 25: "how do they make physical violence look like flirting?" "i don't know but we should take notes" no...you shouldn't. what the is wrong with this story?
Chapter 23: um...why did the wolves kill the panthers? are we supposed to keep rooting for the wolves after that ? because i'm not. i'm on the side of the panthers now. kill them all.

Chapter 22: "Make up your ing mind because I'm done with you acting all concerned for me one minute and snapping at me the next" "Sure, he worried about her and seemed to genuinely care about her, but that didn't mean anything...right?" Ok this is the point where I draw the line. I tried, I really tried with this story. I tried to give it a chance, but...no just no. We all know how this ends so why don't we cut to the chase and stop this pointless, contrived back and forth? This reminded me why I hate enemies-to-lovers stories. Everything about this, from the gaping plotholes in the "prophecy" to the forced characterization of the two leads (and everyone else for that matter), the inconsistency of Jackson's powers (so he can control the weather but pull stars out of the sky? and he can't interfere with nature even though he can "make flowers bloom in December"? that's not messing with nature??), to all the grammatical errors that made this hard to read at times, to the fact that the line into ual harassment and assault have been crossed SEVERAL times at this point. I can't, I just can't. This had the potential to be something good, it really did, but as it is, I give up. I can't deal with this pointless back and forth between love and hate, because I'm willing to bet they just end of together by the end. I can't continue to read these two be so mean to each other they're actually being abusive (verbally and physically), only to know exactly how this ends. This is one of the most contrived, problematic things I've ever read, and it doesn't even have the benefit of good writing to save it. There's no way I can get through the rest.
Everytime I read this page I just think ‘damn what it would be like to have someone that loves me the way Jackson loves Areum’ the descriptions you use for this story really make me wish for a love like theirs
