Chapter 4: I love this site so much! You are really straightforward and completely honest about what it takes to become a K-pop star. For example, none of the companies will accept you unless you are Korean, Chinese or Japanese. Even Japanese is rare. It frustrates me when I see all these American people auditioning for SM global. I'm not trying to be rude, its unfortunately just the truth.

Anyways, thank you so much for making this sight. It really gets you thinking twice about being a Kopp star

Chapter 42: Man after reading all of this I still have the same confused mindset as I had before--I personally am confident in my ability to learn languages, but I'm not confident in dancing, my singing's okay, and my rapping is what I do best and it's still not very good. I always think up situations like "If I were a K-pop star..." but honestly I know it's impossible. I just really wanna be like that one white girl from america in a K-pop group but... alas. It's not worth it. there's no way I'd make it past trainee period. I work super hard in school and I barely get enough sleep as it is with my unfortunate addiction to kpop (Watch ALL the shows! Read ALL the fanfics! Lol) so I can't even imagine the slave life. Even if I did miraculously get selected, I think I would always feel inferior to everyone else, especially as that one white girl xD

But even though I know it's impossible I still have those thoughts... "But /What if/ I was a K-pop star..." "I could so be on that variety show..." "I would do this as my special talent for weekly idol..." "Oh my god, if that were /Me/..." Lol but nahh. I couldn't do it. I'm terrible at performing under pressure, I have stage experience from performing a flute solo and yikes. Stages are scary.

Anyone else get these super mixed feelings? Like you know it'll never happen but you're so tempted to start recording your audition CD? xD

Chapter 21: This actually gives me hope. LOL
I've been told that I have talent by many people but I'm not sure if they were just being nice or just telling the truth. OTL

let's be real, most agencies won't accept you unless you're korean, japanese, or chinese.

Congrats on the feature. I just want to say I was once a trainee and i probably would sound stupid right now cause "who da is dis girl claiming to be a trainee" but yes I left with a reason.

Anyways what I'm saying is I could help answer if anybody is curious about anything.

I know theres a lot of people out there with big dreams and a lot of these talented people may loose their chances just because they don't have people who support them. So i want to help the best I could. Good luck with those who are trying to live their dream :)

Chapter 3: Hi :) I'm really thankful for every piece of information you give us, I was really interested in the testimonies made by former trainees ^^
And I was wondering, is there any way for people to contact agencies (like SME) other than through the audition site? ~
