I loved the first chapter and as you can see from my username, I am taeyeon biased and that was so funny giving her that cameo. I'm very curious as to what this story will turn out and I will patiently wait for your updates.

I don't think it was boring at all.. I think the way you wrote this chapter really matched Kai and his really dull outlook on life. It was a nice take on the characters, and your writing style is flawless.
BTW, the mental image you gave me of two old ladies fighting is forever imprinted on my brain. Now I can blame you if I ever laugh inappropriate situations~ haha
I love this already, and it only has one chapter so far!
I may even like this more than 'awkward' and that's saying something considering I REALLY liked that story.
