This is pretty good as a first story. (: keep up the excellent work.
An advice: ending your chapter with a funny or sentimental dialogue or thought would bring the impact to a higher level. You need to manage the emotional part of the fic more explicitly, but otherwise well done. No big problems in grammar and spelling which is quite a refreshing change (:
