Chapter 4: I love just how true Tazzer stays to her feelings for Jongdae. Despite suho having revealed his feelings, her decision to be with jongdae is just so nice to see compared to other stories. Also, go Kris! He’s such a great friend for waking Jongdae up to how he’s hurting Tazzer.
As for after ‘she kissed him’ ... how about lots and lots of cuddles? Cuddles are nice. xD

Chapter 4: What a wonderfully mature conversation between two friends. :') Suho is such a great guy and I completely agree with Tazzer that his future significant other will be very blessed. x] And Kris, while more of a jokester, is such a stand-up guy as well and if it weren't for his brash, straightforward personality, Jongdae and Tazzer might still have been at a stalemate. All of the conversations and communication between everyone in this chapter is so heartwarming, because all relationships need proper communication in order to flourish (and a lot of people don't realize that OTL), so it's really nice to see level-headed people not shying away from their problems and actively trying to solve them. :') I'm not sure what'll happen after that kiss, but I'm definitely excited for the conclusion to this wonderful story! :)

Chapter 4: I'm crying because what a mature, responsible way to handle unrequited feelings, and what a magnificent display of the valuation of platonic friendship at the same level as romantic love. What a surprising assist from Kris, who so far has really been the more insensitive one, but has leveled up in terms of responsibility and tough love. What revelations from Jongdae (heartbreaking, really). And what a lovely, beautiful thing when Jongdae asks Tazzer what she might rely on him for, and she says honestly that she doesn't know but they could find out together. I'm not emotionally prepared for the next chapter.
And I'm going to guess...Jongdae gets overwhelmed.

Chapter 4: I'm emotionally shaking after reading this chapter. ;) Starting from the top of the hill. The first award of the night goes to... Suho, who was nothing short of FABULOUS!!! The second Award goes to Tazzer who was a real woman in love with her man, despite her vulnerable state! Who says vulnerability has to lead to cheating. (people just use it as an excuse to cheat) It is so refreshing to read a story where two people kept they heads and hearts in the right place and kept there in emotions in check! The third award goes to none other than Kris Wu! I have always like Kris straightforwardness, and to see him display that side in this story with Jongdae, being his true friend was AWESOME! Last but not least at all, this award goes to Jongdae! He has been outstanding in this story! He is a true fighter in every sense of the word! Never giving up despite how difficult it has been for him!

The best award goes to a young lady here on AFF! You are a brilliant writer and I love, love reading your stories. This chapter was written in such a way that you gave life and meaning to each character in this story. And you displayed the beauty of what true friendship means and the beauty of what true love means in every aspect.

Suho cares about Tazzer but he sincerely loves Jongdae as his friend and he didn't cross the line. It is possible to admire something or someone, that you don't have in your life. But you admirer them, not steal them from someone you love and care about. Tazzer has spent so much time with Jongdae until she hasn't had time for friends. So I understand her talking to Suho and then having reservation once she realizes how he feels about her, and I even understand her being flattered by his admiration.

But flattered is a far less emotion and quality than LOVE! She knows having someone to flatter you and admire you don't amount to Love! The real thing is what she has at home! A man, broke as he may be, he is fighting like crazy to be whole again so he can Love her and give her all him! And deep down insides Tazzer knew that, and was able to distinguish that, from mere admiration. Most girls would have been done, trip and fallen, all over the lovable Suho, and would have miserably failed the test because of mere flattery, and lost out on a good thing.

Sometimes we can take a sick person and make them sicker. How may you ask? By not treating them like they are normal. That's all Jongdae wanted, and Kris, he never treated Jongdae like he was sick. He joked with him and clowned around with him and gave him straight talk the same way he did before the accident. And that's what Jongdae wanted and needed. He wanted to be treated like a man because, despite his condition, he is still a man. And in the end when Tazzer followed the same course Kris had set, treating Jongdae like her man, holding his hand, leaning her body against his for him to embrace her, and then topping it off with a kiss. Lord help me! That was all I needed to read. Now did they go further?

Love is a powerful emotion! And that depends on various things, like his medication and the effect it has on him in that area, there is a strong possibility they could have or not went further. But one thing I know for sure, this is the start of some lovemaking from this day forward.

Girl, let me come to a conclusion. Thanks, thanks a bunch for giving me something worth reading, that isn't tasteless and filled with a meaningless storyline. This was packed with flavor, meaning, and purpose! Keep up the good work and I'm looking so forward to the final chapter but with a heavy heart. ^^

Chapter 4: So... something is going to happen after the kiss? My bet is that nothing will happen. Jongdae will still be Jongdae after the kiss and it might surprise them. But this story is a rollercoaster of emotions so I'll be patiantly waiting for the final chapter.

Chapter 3: This chapter is everything I was waiting for! I knew things would get even harder to handle for both of them, it was so well written you did such a great job!
It's truly heartbreaking having a glimpse at Jongdae's feelings it almost feels like he's bordering depression and that'll only make things so difficult cause his feelings are all over the place and he doesn't have a handle on them, the only constant in his life right now are his feelings towards Tazzer. It reminds me of that "teenage blues phase" when feelings are all over the place and sometimes thoughts become a little bit too dangerous before we start becoming adults.

Those 2 comments were so on point with my thoughts while reading this chapter because yes Tazzer deserves better, she's a wonderful, beautiful person who deserves a better life but then she loves Jongdae and do does he and at the end of the day this situation is not his fault, he's actually improved so much and that's on him and his effort and his will to get better for the ppl he loves.

Actually Suho's feelings came as a surprise to me but only bcause this story is so focused on Tazzer and Jongdae that I never really thought we would get an insight on other ppl's emotions. Suho is quite a catch though lol
In conclusion, I wanna give Jongdae a big hug and cuddle him and make everything ok again ;_;

Chapter 3: This chapter as I was reading it made me think about how serious relationships and commitments really are. We know Tazzer has been awesome in this relationship and Jongdae even in his toddler state of mentality has loved Tazzer to the point of marrying her way back when he wanted and did marry her. Remember that? Well, I do. Now just imagine your Jongdae and to him, she's his mate for life. They are as good as married and your mate come to you talking about separating from you and giving you space. How would you feel?

Jongdae hearing those words, when he was a toddler, would have been upset. Not because he's a toddler and need her care for him which he did need her then. But mainly because he loves her. Just imagine hearing those words in his right mind. Devastating! It's true they are not married for real and she no doubt needs a break and one day I think she should take that break. But maybe not right now. This is a crucial time for him in his recovery.

Jongdae is fighting hard right now. In the past four years, there was no fight, he didn't even know what state of mind he was in before. But now he knows and he is giving it all he has to recover despite how difficult it is. He's motivated now because now he is aware of his relationship with Tazzer and his friends and what he once no doubt had. He's fighting to be a whole man again, to be a human being in his right mind. And of course Tazzer is his motivation, he no longer wants to be a burden to her and he wants to love her the way he once did in every way.

So to hear she is ready to separate, that's like taking away his life force and will to live because it's not easy to push through all of it. Sometimes when you go through or are going through traumatic things. It's not just your will to live that makes you go through it. A lot of the times its people will for you to live that makes you go through the suffering and pain of physically and mentally fighting for life.

But Tazzer wouldn't know that and many people don't know it because all they see is the outer shell and if that looks good then they are happy because they have never walked in those shoes before. They just think. Oh! You are so strong! And your will to live is so strong! Well sometimes it's not just your will to live that's strong but your will to continue to love and share life with those who are close to you that's strong. It's their face, company, words, and presences that make you fight just that harder another day. Because sickness, suffering, and pain don't go away overnight. Jongdae knows they are with him every single day even on a good day he knows they are there.

But when he sees Tazzer and his friends caring for him and loving him. Despite the battle he's having it makes him just that more determined to win the war! I hope this comment was understandable. This chapter for me was very relatable and I could just imagine if I didn't have the few important things in my life that are a highlight to me and I think you know what they are. Take those away and the battle would have been over a long time ago. Thanks for another great chapter and I hope you continue to write more meaningful chapters like this in the future. Because this was great!~

Chapter 3: I have so many thoughts about this now

When I was reading this, I empathized with Jongdae's thoughts and it surprised me how often I and many other people have such negative thoughts of ourselves. Even though Suho may be better off than him in terms of money, job, and situation, I still find Jongdae so so beautiful. He is incredibly strong for surviving the accident and trying his damned hardest to recover. It must be so suffocating to not be able to express yourself to the fullest so that you don't "fall asleep." It's really scary and I commend Jongdae for being strong enough to work towards overcoming them.

I wonder if having Jongdae and Tazzer separate (but not Tazzer with Suho) will do them some good. Tazzer probably needs her own time to figure out if she really wants to continue with Jongdae. And I believe that Jongdae should build motivation to get better for himself, and not out of guilt for Tazzer. I really look forward to seeing how this plays out!

Chapter 3: Oh man, the angst... My heart is breaking for both Jongdae and Tazzer. T^T Jongdae is going through so many self-doubts and it's so soul-crushing for both of them when he voices aloud his darkest thoughts to Tazzer, especially regarding the alternative outcome to the accident. Tazzer has really been doing her best for his sake, even if he doesn't believe it right now. :/

Chapter 3: honestly, i commend jongdae's inner strength and drive so much, because in all honesty, if i were in his shoes, i feel like all of that guilt/stress/anxiety/insecurity would have driven me to my end the moment i realized how burdensome i've been to the very person i love, no matter what they say :( but holy , this chapter was heavy my heart aches so much for jongdae :(((((((

and tazzer, my goodness, she deserves the whole entire world ;; n ;;

and legit, with every update, i swear you leave me in such awe. i'm so amazed by how deeply you delve into each character as the story progresses it literally blows my mind dude

Chapter 3: As painful as the things he said to Tazzer, Jongdae's right. Suho is perfect and stable which is the complete opposite of Jongdae. Any girl to not fall for Suho and for Jongdae instead would be wasting their lives (which is what he thinks Tazzer is doing - wasting her life on him). Even more is that Suho willingly helps Tazzer to help Jongdae which makes Suho even more appealing. And not to mention that Jongdae obviously is attracted to Tazzer - skin or no skin, boy wants to tangle limbs. I mean, she was wearing sweats and he was going crazy. He has no idea how to channel that kind of emotion since he's missed a portion of his adult life being a child. OH and now that im thinking about it as I'm writing this, he reverted back to his child-like state when Tazzer kissed him a Symptom fic or two back ago. Woah, this makes sense (idk if that was done on purpose, but if so wow you are brilliant - you are anyway). He already doesn't know how to organize his emotions now he has to add in the ual attraction he feels. And if he's attracted then another person who is more capable of him can also be attracted and whisk her away.

And omg when he suggested that it was better for him to have died then become what he is now djsifhdkdodm gah my heart. I mean, it's not like it's impossible for someone to move on after a death of someone close to them and knows that, and it's easier to move on when there are no traces of him left to remind her aka him being dead and not being taken care of by her. He really isn't the same Jongdae. Not the one before the accident. Not the toddler after the accident. But the Jongdae who is trying to cope with all the trauma and the years that his present-self has missed. And his friends need to accommodate to this new Jongdae. Tazzer as well.

Wow. I just love this story more and more.
