Chapter 36: Just caught up with the latest chapters. I can't believe i didn't see the Salemo and Omelas reference. I always thought why would there be such a strange name for a town in South Korea of all places...Great work with the mystery part. For a second I thought the old man must be Seokjin's corpse. He survived then many years later died as an old man. Must have lived a lonely life byt surprise surprise....That was not the case at all.
I am not smart enough to think of intelligent questions but i have few burning question. How was Namjoon related to all this? I can't believe that he didn't have a bigger part after all those foreshadowing on your part. He was transferred to Salemo Police Station because of some conflict with powerful politician right? His partner went missing and all that Tragedy. Family is still stuck in a limbo....Was any of thess relevant at all? Or you just included these to give background information about Namjoon, or to confuse us or to throw us off the right path.
Thanks for writing this amazing story. I had a great time reading this. I was always fond of mystery, thriller, horror etc genre. But unfortunately found very few Jin centred stories. Thanks for writing this. I appreciate that.
P.S. When I read Dr. Seo....My mind simply went to Girls' Generation Seohyun. I mean you already had Taeyeon why not our unique maknae too... Please tell me whom did you imagine. Or was it just a random name. Love and respect. Take care
Chapter 36: Sooo I read this story again from the beginning for the 3rd time cause like I said on my last comment, I want to figure out the roses. I’m giving my two cents here! Haha
Sooo maybe the roses is actually Yeon or a symbol of Yeon, Jin’s twin sister? In my last comment I had a theory that Jin is in an endless loop of his own misery, he’s probably in a coma or something (he was alive or it seems so in the epilogue) and maybe he was in a coma or something. And when I read the story again, there is one chapter that Yeon grew flowers but they were red and Jin asked why not pink and she said that’s because pink is Jin’s color not hers and then we got a story of JinxPinkstuff.
I think Yeon was visiting Jin in the “real world” and bringing pink roses because Jin likes pink and that’s why the pink roses appear in Jin’s “current world”. I think the idea of pink roses = Yeon calling out to Jin grew stronger for me is when he dreamt of a silhouette of a petite person (Yeon is smaller than Jin I noticed in the flashback when she saw Jin off in the train station) and in the diner when a little girl handed him a pink rose and Jin said the girl reminded him of his twin sister.
Also the part where Jin went to the woods and he saw two roads, the one that continues the road he was taking and the other a road full of pink to red roses to a field of roses. I think this might be the part of Jin’s consciousness trying to make him choose to stop the loop of his misery and “go to the light” (which for me means to wake up in his “dream”) but Jin chooses the other (like I said, like he wants to reject the facts that happened and this stage is like the exit for every loop but he always chooses the bad ending choice)
I’m not sure about this hahahaha I’m just guessing! I wanna read the last outro to make everything clear! I’m so worked up on this amazing story you made!!

Jin seemed to survived but...could it be that Jin didn’t “fully survived”? Like maybe he was physically saved, but mentally, he wasn’t. Like he was stuck in a loop in his mind which is the world we read the story from. Like his mind has some “barriers” that’s why in the story he doesn’t remember stuff in the beginning yet he said to Yoongi the “actual ending” (though he doesn’t remember saying that too) could it be that maybe it is Jin denying what happened but the world we read was his consciousness trying to make him remember but in the end Jin still refuses so he was stuck in a loop? I don’t know omgggg I still can’t figure out the roses though. I’m super curious about that part especially.
Chapter 35: I... I can't believe that it had been a dream all along, but, wow. Salemo... Omelas.. It's all starting to make sense now.
I would like to see the answers to questions people may ask. Just so I have a more in depth understanding of the story. I did get confused in little bits.
