Chapter 1: holy okay so story time, so five months ago (FIVE FLIPPING MONTHS) i read this on ao3, like dont tell me i didnt cuz im sure i did and if im hallucinating time to go to doc, anyways, forgot to bookmark it, or watever you do on ao3, that s new to me, but anyways, two weeks later im like oh im the mood for a haughty chanyeol and stubborn baekhyun in a restaurant scene, so im going thru my bookmarks (theres a ton trussttt took so long smfh) and im like did i not bookmark it, bcuz way to go dumass. i was actually so sad, like a work this good slipped right thru my fingers, (lemme tell u, i was reading this on the streets, and i almost got hit by a car, and i got weird looks too, so this was a definite good read 5 stars ). i spend the next month or smth just searching up every type of chanbaek restaurant fic, with no luck. I went from as specific as rude chanyeol and stubborn baek that comes to work at chans moms restaurant to as vague as chanyeol baekhyun viva polo fic like im not joking. and i kind of gave up, just reminiscing the scenes that i remembered from the fic (aka that first kiss oooooofff baek slamming chanyeol against the door to kiss the lights out of him is all types of kinks and moods) . and then these past few months i was searching again, but this time by authors, and i went thru every author i knew smh i stalked them to find the right story, but once again, did find nada. UNTILL I COME TO AFF TODAY AND WHAT HAS BEEN FEATURED, MY LONG LOST JEWEL i read the title and im like isnt this fic abt some t swift song and how chanyeol wanted it before he met baek, and i move onto the summary and le voila like exact same thing, and the moment i read the first few sentences im like okay this is it. this is what ive been yearning for, than u lord for sending this back to me.
so basically, if u skipped that para, dw (id have done the same lolz) in essence, its just me being happy abt this fic, and how thankful i am that u wrote it, so tysm. made my entire year with this.
