Chapter 15: Beautiful.

Chapter 15: I truly loved the way you ended this story. Like I said before, I can see the romance was just a part of it but you probably never intended it to be the core of what you were writing. And I'm happy that you chose to write this story and that you made the choice to focus on Wendy's perspective of the world surrounding her.
I live for character development. In my opinion, it is the best part of a story and you succeed in that department: Wendy kept working on overcoming her mental illness, not letting it define who she is and in the end she could even experience love again; Joy went from being a careless teenager to a doctor, a profession that requires a lot of commitment and self-control; Seulgi took responsibility for her actions and recognized how they could hurt other people.

(I'm also happy that character development didn't change Irene that much: always good to see her being a jealous queen untill the end. Of course she would get triggered by Wendy working in the same company as her ex lol)

This was a great story and I'll definitely be reading it again soon. Thanks for sharing it with me!

P.S.: sorry for any weird spelling/grammar mistakes in my comments D:

Chapter 14: I honestly didn't know what "143" meant. Guess I'm really getting old, after all. Oh, well.... I shall deceive myself by pretending I didn't know what "143" meant because english is not my first language. Yeah, that must be it xD

I'm a little bit apprehensive because of those few last paragraphs - I really hope wenrene is endgame (but, if I'm being completely honest here, even if they don't get to be together at the end I'll probably be satisfied. I feel like this was a meaningful story that wasn't just about the romance that it contains).

Chapter 13: HAHAHAHAH MY POOR BABY IRENE!!!!
At least, now Joohyun knows how it feels like when she doesn't directly answer Wendy's questions lol

I'm so happy Wendy seems to be getting better. Baby steps, Wendy, and you'll be just fine.
She's so afraid of disappointing Irene and maybe making her unhappy because she, herself, feels unhappy all the time. Still, Irene is so sincere with her words and intentions. I hope Wendy can overcome her fears and deal with her guilt, allow herself a little happiness.

Chapter 12: Ooohhhhh Wendy is not so oblivious after all
This ending!!!! How could you, author???? My feelings!!!! I can't even.....

Ok, minor breaking down of a wenrene fanatic heart is over. Now the real comment:

I think it was a smart decision when you solved the seulgi x wendy conflict the way you did. It's very important that Seulgi was the one to initiate a conversation, that she had the courage to apologize for her behavior and that she seems genuinely sorry for what she did.
I understand that if Wendy hadn't attempted suicide, Seulgi probably wouldn't even have acknowledged how her actions, her simple jokes, could hurt other people. But the way I see it, any changes for the better are valid - at least, in this specific case, it doesn't matter if Seulgi's change of behavior is the result of new acquired moral values or just fear of being the reason behind someone's death. I'm happy Wendy has grown as a character and now is mature enough to understand that it's not worth it to hold on to those feelings of resentment (I feel like her stay in the psychiatric ward (specially her contact with other patients) has also made her understand how her actions can affect someone else's life, even when she is the real victim in the situation).

I just have to say it again: I really *really* like a jealous Irene <3

Chapter 10: Seven years is not a big (at least not in my culture/country). Irene is overreacting with the whole "oh no seven years!!!" The therapist/patient relationship might be an issue, though... I do see my doctor as a nanny lol (although I really shouldn't since I'm too old for that D:) maybe if Irene was my psychiatrist...... *sigh* (funny thing (not funny AT ALL) my doctor uses the same "technic" of answering questions with other questions followed by long periods of complete silence....... I get so exasperated every time I see Irene doing that, ugh. Wendy, I know the feeling, girl)

Ok, I'm in love with Krystal's character! She seems so spontaneous! She should meet Joy, they would be great as a couple of even just friends. They would be like Satan&Satan lol

Chapter 9: For a moment there I thought Taeyeon was Wendy's ex-girlfriend. It would be... interesting if that was the case, but maybe too much drama? I don't even know anymore hahah

I'm still very excited for Christmas with the Bae family, hope everything works just fine, but I have a feeling something is going to happen... I don't know why I'm with this crazy idea that maybe Seulgi is related to Irene. Imagine Wendy and Irene entering the house and (SURPRISE!) Seulgi is right there in the living room drinking some wine (or whatever you guys drink at Christmas parties). Wouldn't that be just ~crazy~~??
Anyway... Next chapter!! Let's find out, maybe it's just harmless fluffy <3

Chapter 8: That scene with Yuri counting up to five before talking and the nurse getting frustrated over it was so funny! Is it bad that I think it's funny? Oh no, I feel bad now...... I mean, imagine that.....

I simply CANNOT WAIT FOR IRENE AND WENDY AT CHRISTMAS!!!!!! Poor Irene can't even pretend she's unbiased anymore lol

Chapter 7: Ooohh that final dialogue between Wendy and Irene!!! Beautiful <3

I'm *really* enjoying to see this jealous joohyun lol It's so funny (and also very cute) when she's trying to keep a professional facade but at the same time she just wants to scream at everyone coming near Wendy lol

Chapter 6: ~~Everybody loves Wendy~~ Well, who am I to disagree? I love Wendy too, such a small, pretty and kind girl <3

I'm loving Wendy's stay in the psychiatric ward. Don't get me wrong: I want her to get better asap; I just really like all the people she's meeting there. Everybody is so interesting!

Chapter 5: I like how you made your characters talk about the romanticization of mental illness. It's a relevant topic and I think both of them have interesting opinions on the subject - both of them are right, in a way. People shouldn't be so irresponsible while producing any kind of fiction that includes mental disorders. But on the other hand, you can't impose censorship to the media - even if it's hard to control or "judge" what is a good or bad influence for teenagers.

And....... Hey there, Momo! How's it going? How are your girlfriend Dahyun? By the way, stop touching Wanda (Ms. Bae doesn't like when you touch her girl)

Chapter 4: Why? Why does school have to be so cruel and unfair? Once again I can relate to Wendy on that matter: I always had the unwanted luck to be listening when people talked bad things about me. I see how Wendy can feel so helpless over it. It's because she knows it isn't a complete lie, after all: she knows they aren't completely wrong, she *has* her issues and she does struggle with mental illness... She just cannot see that they are completely wrong in treating her like trash because of it. She's human too and she deserves better.
It amazes me how you can go inside this girl's mind and make this character feel so real, author! I'm loving this story so much! I really hope Wendy gets the happy ending she deserves - she has such a smart, sweet, beautiful soul!

That last scene reminded me of Florence + the machine's song "what the water gave me" (I think the song is about ia Woolf's death)... It fits the moment.

Chapter 3: I sense Seulgi has kind of a bad reputation? I guess Joy's distrust in regards to Seulgi's good intentions towards Wendy has nothing to do with prejudiced opinions about the LGBT community since she seems to be aware of (and ok with) Wendy's previous relationship.... What will that be??? I'm very curious, because the real Seulgi is so cute and such a precious angel - and the character-seulgi here seems to be very nice too

This chapter left me with a lot of questions: what kind of feelings Irene has for Wendy? What is exactly Wendy's problem/trauma? Who is this ex-girlfriend and why would she break up with my poor little Wendy? AAAAAA so many questions! I'd better resume to my reading now

Chapter 2: The dialogues are SO GOOD!!!! I mean, there are these conversations and at first you could think they're meaningless and all for nothing, but if you take a closer look you can discern the subtext - the characters talking about important things, having actual profound conversations that are so rare nowadays.

I can relate to Wendy about the "wanting school to end" thing lol I finished school a few years ago and, let me tell you, I didn't even go to my graduation ceremony xD

I feel like Irene likes Wendy as more than a friend? Looks like she got a little bit jealous there. Interesting, hmm...

Chapter 1: This story has been in my "must read" list for ages now and I finally started reading it! Yay!
It's like I keep seeing this story being recommended everywhere, so I guess it's like a sign that I should be reading it already o/

Anyway... The first time I read the synopsis I was very intrigued by the themes that you'd be writing about. Personally, I love when characters are explored in a psychological level - I like to analyze who they really are based on what they're saying/doing/feeling (and, sure, you can do that with any regular character in any regular story, but... I don't know, I find it way more interesting when authors use this specific tool in their works... Like "Noisy Thoughts"? That is a GREAT example).

I should say your writing is amazing (this is always something that must be praised. You have a talent with words).
I got so hyped and this is only the first chapter omg! I also already gave this an upvote, because...... you know.... I can *feel* a great story is on the way

Chapter 15: Please note that i will never leave any 2cents for a story i am not so fond of.

My 2 cents:
1. The way you described the turmoil amd the repercussion of wendy's mental illness is poignant. Harsh but not crude. I cant help to think whether this is based on the author's personal experience.
2. Seulgi as an . Wow, i just know this will be a good stuff
3. So many quotable phrases that i just want to copy to my notebook. The references are just purely satisfying
4. This is a movie material
5. Like you said, another story about how Irene keep the flame burning while Wendy's goin to canada would be interesting
