Chapter 15: Ahhh... i've reached the end. Again. But it was nice reading it with a new POV on things. It makes me wondering why I don't remember the scene Joy and Seulgi kissing on the first read lol. I seriously don't remember Seulgi moving on fast with Joy Hahaha. I guess that made thing less painful but yeah, Wendy definitely can't go back now.
Everyone's closure on their relationships is very relatable. One will take time. One found another love. And one finally had her long time crush.
I guess we're only left with Seungwan's 'I love you' and Wendy's 'Goodbye'.
It's kinda sad for Wendy tho. If she still loves Seulgi, that song would break her.
Having Wendy and Seungwan in one body is really troublesome. It also got me thinking. When Wendy said, 'Then why not Joy?' Seulgi was already in love with Joy? She could've retorted, 'I'd fallen in love with Joy but you didn't with me.' lol it's funny how Wendy winces when Seulgi asked why the reasons Joy fell in love with Seulgi were not enough to make Wendy fall for her hahaha. That was a bitter move lol.
I swear, when this story get completed, the RV fandom will shake haha. No pressure tho Author. We're thankful that you've already written tens of thousands of words for the update of NT and TPFT. This is truly years in the making haha. Lastly, stay safe and well Author. All the best!
Chapter 14: I'm still amazed at the fact that nobody knew Seungwan had an and accident which caused her to lose her memories except Seulgi and herself. Joohyun didn't even asked and settled with only the information that Seungwan's case is the same with her and Yeri where there are still people who love them despite finding love in someone else. I find it cute how Seungwan and Joohyun both have the patience that could fit for everyone lol. How did Seungwan even managed to stay in that apartment when she can basically hear what Joohyun and Yeri are saying. And yep, I agree with Yeri,no one can hate Seungwan and that just so sad considering she gave Joohyun up for the latter's future and ended up losing the latter. That's just so sad! Knowing that there are no more reason to keep them apart and realizing that they could've been if she just fought with Joohyun but chose to fight alone. There was no hindrance at all except for the fact that time wasn't on her side. All the could have's, would have's, what ifs, everything ended up what it was because of their choices.
The slap tho! Ouch! Imagine happily cooking and then suddenly got slap out of nowhere LOL. Poor joy who needs a warm to Seulgi to tend to her strong facade.
And last but not the least, I love how you wrote Wenrene's intimate scene without jumping to the 'M' line. Joohyun held back a lot lol. It's funny how they ended up in the couch when they have two functioning rooms. lol
Chapter 13: I feel like finally understanding Yerene's story in a deeper level. I don't know why it took me this long but I feel like I did not fully understood Yeri's side. It must be because I'm now seeing Joohyun's character clearly that I'm now getting why Yeri is acting the way she is. It's funny how everyone keep on hurting the people they love because they CHOSE to handle the problem on their own. Yeri wanted the best for Joohyun so she left her and bear the pain. Seulgi chose not to tell Seungwan cause it might hurt the latter. Joy chose to look at Seulgi from afar and not tell her anything.
It's sad tho. It could've been different if Yeri told Joohyun sooner. But then again, it was her choice. She decided to live with the responsibility of her choice. She chose to run away and just move on and seal everything away. It must've been painful doing everything for the person you love and yet seeing them fall for someone else. When Joohyun finally screamed, "But before that, I was in love with you!" She also knew she can't get back those lost time and love. But I love how Joohyun won't let anything go without a fight. I actually love how everyone is dealing from their own heartbreak to their own healing. Sure they did a few wrong turn and choices (e.g. Seulgi and Wendy) but they eventually learned from those mistakes. Everyone loves Wenrene end game but I'm sure everyone could sympathize of just having a relationship circling between the 5 of them so it will be happily ever after XD
Chapter 12: Seungwan is living her best night on that birthday sleepover lol. Joohyun and Seulgi on both her sides... woah girl you've got the best of both worlds LOL. Kidding aside, I agree that this is the most vocally expressive chapter. With Seulgi's, 'It's about time we stopped healing wrong.' and Joohyun's, 'You make it sound like falling in love with you was a choice I could make.' You seriously drop the best heartbreaking quotes Author! I find it funny how they all had their arrangements that evening. Yeri thinking Joohyun is on Joy's place and ending up in Wendy and Joohyun's apartment. Then here comes Seulgi crashing in on Joy's place. I honestly didn't like how broken Seulgi had become. It was a good this Joy is Joy and she can somehow contrast Seulgi's character and behavior and yet it still sad on Joy's part. It's like among all of them, she's the most whole and she knew she's gonna crumble if she stumbles on the mess Seulgi has and yet, she still did. It doesn't mean she doesn't know her worth and would let herself be miserable. She's not like that. Seulgi sees it too. Maybe that's why she decided to crash into Joy instead. Love this chapter Author❤️
Chapter 11: Joohyun's POV on Seulgi's orange scent/taste is so unexplainably tangible. I can't fathom how they can still meet, be friends, have coffee session when they both love the same girl and are obviously walking on thin ice or carefully dodging certain topics. I totally agree with what Joohyun said to Sooyoung how you can only talk certain topic to specific friends. That's totally relatable. I also love how Joy has a lot of scene in this chapter, love how the scene changes from Wenrene to Joygi to Joyrene to Wenseul. And hearing/reading Joy finally break down is really upsetting. She's been strong for too long too although she's been masking it with her snarky comments and unfiltered mouth.
The bathroom scene made me feel so warm. I'm getting a weird inclination on Joyrene's interaction! It just feels so pure and warm.
And lastly but of course not the least, Wenseul... It's just, how to describe this... messed up? Lol Haha that was a compliment. Joohyun was brave to apologize and still hold a crying and broken Seulgi in her arms. And Wendy.. arghhh it's to complicated not trying to hurt any of the parties when it's obviously impossible! I cried when Seulgi complained about not teaching her how to let go. That past Seungwan momentarily resurfacing just to cradle a broken Seulgi and give her a short response to her question is so emotionally heartbreaking T.T
Chapter 10: It seriously scared me how I can remember every scene when it has been 5 years since I've read it lol. I suddenly had this weird vision of Wendy being caged inside Seungwan's body making all the noise that Seungwan kept hearing when she's close with Seulgi cause Wendy is trying to call on Seulgi. But then, Joohyun came and Wendy doesn't react to her and so the noises settles. The scene where Seungwan suddenly leaves Seulgi never fails to break my heart. Tho honestly, every chapter is heart breaking. It's funny how a lot of things happened on a single day with that sleepover. I also remember being mad at Seungwan at this point (Well still is) cause that is absolutely two timing! But then, when you think about it, it's like having two persona who loves two different people! And damn, when Joohyun mirrored Seulgi's word 'Don't do this to me.' It's like, all hell break lose! That was so brilliant! And of course, the orange taste... ahh.. still gives me goosebumps. I felt the cold water drenching Seungwan when Joohyun impliedly state that she tastes like Seulgi and she knew all along that they've been kissing and more. The 'I should be loving Yeri' 'I should be loving Seulgi' game is so cruel on them.
Chapter 9: Ahh.. Joy's POV.. I've read in one of the comments how fascinating it is that Joy fell in love with Seulgi even before Wendy came into her life. I find it fascinating too. She also met Joohyun before knowing that there is something going on with her and Yeri. It's like Joy is the all knowing character who had a glimpse of all the start of their stories. Love also the relationship between her and Joohyun. Their banter and antics are so funny especially the water spitting scene lol. I'm so thankful that Joy isn't in love with Joohyun or else that would be such a heartbreak, being one of her closest friend and all.
And why is it that I always find Seulgi's words quote worthy!? Damn. That, 'Don't tell me to love you tonight if I can't love you tomorrow' is so heart wrenching! I remember a scene with Joy where 'tomorrow' was also mentioned. Guess it's on the latter part. I love Joy second to Joohyun. Love how she knows she can't pick up someone broken and try to fix her on her own. Still she loves Seulgi.
Chapter 8: Seulgi's, 'Cant I keep on pretending? Just for a little longer—until I'm not anymore.' still breaks my heart everytime. T.T Seungwan's outburst in the shop and Seulgi breaking down inside her mascot is really intense! And tae tae seeing the resemblance between Seulgi and Joohyun twists everything in a very painful way. I love the idea that Joohyun doesn't want to replace the worn out bear but fix it instead while leaving her scent into it. It's like she doesn't want Seungwan to just be Seungwan but she can still be her old self and yet remain being Seungwan. Oh! And Joohyun and Seulgi's coffee session still screams a.w.k.w.a.r.d. lol
Chapter 7: I'm still loving Joohyun more and more as I go through the story. And Yerene's chapter.. ahhh.. I remember not fully digesting everything when I first read this since my heart, head and eyes are still full of tears for Seulgi. This chapter is heavily angsty but following Wenseul's chapter, I could only get the plot and events and not really focus on the detail cause I'm still busy glueing back my heart after a heavy crash from the last chap.
Chapter 6: It's so weird and interesting how time can alter what you see and feel. When I first read this chapter, I was sobbing hard for Seulgi. I got mad at Seungwan for forgetting she's Wendy and decided to hide and run away. But now... I finally able to see the side of those who got mad at Seulgi.
It took her a month to visit Wendy. (So much for the courage that Wendy taught her) She got overly confident that Wendy will fall for her again like the first time. She decided to fix her. She wanted her to go back to the Wendy she knew but never really tried to understood the Seungwan in front of her.
She wanted to know the Seungwan before the calm, collected and confident Wendy. But it was never Seulgi who made her into Wendy. She was already Wendy when they met. Seungwan became Wendy on her own which Seulgi wasn't able to see.
Then Joohyun came. She fit entirely perfectly with Seungwan that there is no need for Wendy to return.
Seulgi realized it too late. It was her decision. And she knew. She's the only one to be blamed for it. No one will ever know if things would be different for options not taken. She tried to be brave tho.
It got me thinking. Wendy was there to fix something about Seulgi. But maybe, all this time, something needs to be fix about Wendy but Seulgi wasn't able to see it. Did Wendy really like the sound of Wendy? Or she just convinced herself that she like the sound of Wendy.
Sorry for the rambling Author. It's 2 am and this chapter accidentally happened to be read at this hour.
Chapter 5: Ahhh.. now I remember hating Seungwan at some point. This is like the turning point of all the incoming heartbreak. I never really appreciated Joohyun's character not until now. Suddenly, she felt the realest out of them all. She never really hid anything. She's a complete opposite of Seulgi. Yet, everyone cried for Seul..
Chapter 4: The five of them meeting at the restaurant is really EPIC. Still love Joohyun's words, "I was hoping the next time I see you, I wouldn't be feeling like I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be." GOLD.
Chapter 3: Damn Seulgi! You should've screamed at her! I can't still fathom how she was able to stand and pretend like nothing's wrong with her when she practically see the way Seungwan is falling for Joohyun.
Chapter 1: Rereading this after 5 years and truly, you cannot read something like it's the first time. There is no blank slate but instead, a new perspective is there.
It hits different when the words noise, coffee, love letter, tomorrow and many other are mentioned.
Chapter 11: I remembered stumbling upon this story and reading up until the chapter where Taeyeon said to Joohyun, 'Bye fabric softener.' and I needed to stop after that cause I can't handle the plot. Don't get me wrong, this story has been fantastic so far but seeing Seulgi hurt made me really hurt too and i couldn't handle it. It's like tearing my heart to pieces. So here i am for the second time, going to finish reading until the recent chapter and give it another shot. Wendy is my bias in RV but damn, in this story, Seulgi got my heart man. thank you again for sharing this story. have a nice day :)

Comments
