Sigh

Law will not be my future. I don't understand what I learn in class or am I not focus at class? Sighhhh

@BodaahL Thank you for your advice. :)

@schyra_ Yep. I just meant to say you should probably take your time deciding it. Personally, I needed a long time to develop my perspective on law (I actually fell in love with it). If you are positive it is not your cup of tea, though, there's no fighting it.
Good luck finding your passion, then!

@BodaahL I’m sorry but I don’t see eye to eye with you. I’ve been trying to manipulate myself into liking Law, but I can’t seem to pressure myself anymore. Studying Law is not my cup of tea and answering Law exam recently was just a living proof of it. Forcing myself into furthering my degree in a major that isn’t my fervor will just make matters worse. I believe in a principle that if you’re not vehement in something, you shouldn’t force yourself into it.

Basically, you shouldn't reach a veredict on Law based on one single class. We are talking about a very complex, broad subject; that includes fields varying from political science to economics. While it is possible that you simply are not compatible with this science, you need time to reach such a conclusion. As my professor would say, you need at least 1,5 year of studying law to be sure it's not for you. Because even if you hate sociology or criminal law, you might just fall in love with environmental law.

You should know that depending on the particular methodological/ideologycal nature of your school, what you learn in law can vary RADICALLY. In more progressive oriented institutions there is a huge focus on theoretical aspects of law; such as philosophy, sociology, history and economics. That will apply to most college institutions. In constrast, more traditional institutions tend to focus on "raw" legislations, meaning the understanding of law applied to practical cases.

Did you already know what you were getting yourself into when you applied for the class? Or is there an option for you to switch into a different class? I'm close to getting into uni myself and I listened to a few seminars from many different classes I might find interesting but I had some that turned out to be not made for me.

now I'm scared because I'm planning to go to law school in the future. :(
