If you can find Camilla Läckberg’s series, starting with The Ice Princess, that’s what I would recommend. I love her books. They’re amazing.

I'll skip the usual list and recommend something I recently read and feel that more people should read it because it's really stupid: "Zeus Grants Stupid Wishes: A No-Bull Guide to World Mythology". I'm a myths enthusiast, so reading this made me laugh a lot. But you should only read it if you can handle excessive jokes since it's basically a book of jokes through and through.

The 5th wave by rick yancey, miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children, all three books by ransom Riggs. If you’re fine with kids then diary of a wimpy kid/dork diaries, huckleberry Finn.

'Mistborn' By Brandon Sanderson!!!! Theirs three books and then another three books based like a few hundred years in the future! I've read (well I listen to the audio books) all three of the first series and it was amazing!!! And the 'Howls Moving series' is amazing it's by 'Diana Wayne' I think (my sister says the stormlight archive by Brandon Sanderson is also amazing but I haven't read those books yet;)
