I had someone review my story and she described it as a "slowburn fanfiction" and I've been obsessed with this term ever since. What do you guys think of slowburn stories? I never intended for my own story to be slowburn but it ended up playing out that way and I think it fits well with the story. I personally don't feel like every single relationship goes into a romantic milestone right away so perhaps, slowburn stories are pretty realistic?
