Your real life reacting to your AFF

Does your family know you write fanfics? Do your friends know?

My parents know I write a lot and kind of support it since it helped improve my English but have never read it.
My friends know i read a lot (= every time I don't talk to them im probably too focused on a story) and once my friend read this drabble of mine that I wrote down but she traumatized herself (or she says) so she isn't touching them anytime soon

A few of my friends know that I write fanfics, but the thing that they don't know is that I write gxg fanfics to be exact :v Most of the time when they request for a straight couple pairing, I would first make the characters both female, then when I finish and it's time to show them my fanfic from my phone, I would change the names of the characters to whoever they preferred in the first place. So far they haven't asked about what my username was for here, but if worst comes to worst, I may have to create another account so that they don't see any of my gxg fanfics xD

my friends know about it. I used to write about them tho before. and there's my other friend who we would just discuss and talk about what we wrote. she wrote about japanese, magical genre. my older sister knows it. never it but she knows. while my mom just knows that when I used laptop it probably about korea related stuff. none of them ever weirded out about it yet. and just think I'm doing my thing.

My family knew that I love writing, and I have tones of journals, but they don't know that I write fanfictions though!

A lot of my friends did (I don't write anymore) and some of them even read the stories I used to write. I never let my family know about my writing life because I didn't trust them enough not to belittle or make fun of me XD (and I still don't #sorrynotsorry)

Many of my friends know that I write fanfics and I even managed to pull some of them into the fanfic world. Though, it seems like only two of them stay. I don't know whether they read my fics or not? But I don't really mind since my fics are probably not their cup of tea.

My parents know that I write but they don't know that it's for fanfics lmao. My dad is always like "is that for your writing project" lolololol.

My brother knows that I write fanfics and he always teases me about it. My sister knows, too, but she reads fanfics so we're cool.

My best friends actually read and preview my stories/chapters before they're published. It's actually funny because my best friends are six Korean boys, and almost everyday, the phrase "what did you think of the ?" comes into conversation in our texts. They're very supportive and send me encouraging GIFs and prompts for future ideas and to help me if I have writer's block. Sadly, my very conservative, southern family is close-minded, so they have no idea about my stories, but luckily I am blessed with my boys ^^

My best friends know I write fanfiction, and they actually preview it before I publish it and help me during writer's block. It's actually kinda funny, because my best friends are a group of Korean guys and asking them, "what did you guys think of the ?" is a daily question in our group chats. They'll also send me GIFs or prompts saying i should turn it into a story. But not my family, my conservative, southern family would not approve of all the stuff I write, so I have to turn to my boys.

My mom used to read my fics but she doesn't really read much of anything nowadays so that stopped, and I talk to my parents about things I'm writing and like what I'm gonna do next, things like that. They support me a lot cause writing makes me happy ^^ And pretty much all of my friends are kpop people so yes they know I write fics lol

My mom knows I do something on my computer, but I think she thinks I'm either writing an essay or just gossiping on forums. My friends know I write but I won't ever let them read (if you have read He Did Not Call you understand why, not advertising or anything) because they'd think I am mentally unstable (true) b1tch (true as well). Like 90% of everything I write contain something M-rated so I'm trying to cover it xD

My mom knows I write but she has no idea what I'm writing..she thinks I'm talking on the computer lol (no, for real, she thinks I'm writing a diary or something...she never asked what I write tho)

To be honest though, I never planned on telling my mother. I kept it a secret and when she found out that I had been writing in documents she asked what it was and I said fanfiction. She thought it was kind of odd, but then I told her that people were actually reading it and enjoying it and somehow that made it acceptable lmao

The only one who knows that I write fanfiction, let alone write stories, is my mum. My friend group would be weirded out lmao

My parents are very supportive of me, although they don't know what I write about exactly. But they're like "as long as it gets you to read and learn more vocabulary" LOL.

My friends know I write fanfic, but don't read them. Which, I'm pretty okay with.

My parents may or may not know I write fanfic. Probably not, but they do know that I write general fiction stories. Either way, they don't approve of me writing anything. ("You've got better things to spend your time on", "are you making money doing that?" "why don't you work on writing job applications?", etc, etc.)

My friends know I write fanfics, but only one of them knows that I write boyxboy fanfics most of the time and that I read fanfics as well lmao. My family know, and my dad is always telling me to send my stories to him so he could read them but I always say no but I don't tell him it's bc his daughter is writing a story where there are two boys kissing lmao. My mom would probably kill me if she found out, maybe my dad would too. They, uh, aren't very supportive about the LGBT community ;;;;;;

My parents know that I write stories, they just don't know what exactly those stories consist of nor have they read any. XD My friends know I write male on male , but they don't care to read any of it though. The only support I usually get is from the readers on here and then the people that follow me on tumblr and see when I post a new story.

only my close friend who is also a user on AFF knows that I write fanfiction. My parents know that I write and do most of it on the computer, but they don't know what I write and what I use.

All my fam once knew is something like "oh ok this girl is writing something on her /blog/" which is totally inaccurate since I don't have a blog and this isn't a blog lmao. And i say once knew because i think they forgot about it already which is better than fine by me because 7/8 of thr stories i write here are HAHAH

On the other hand one of my close friends found out about one of my fics and as a result i nearly choked on the piece of meat i was eating (i was at a korean bbq restaurant), freaked out, and had to make up this whole riveting lie about how there are secretly two people using my account and that i was only in charge of the single non-rated fic on there HAHA basically it was stupid and probably didn't buy it but pretended to for the sake of our friendship lmao lets try this again

Yes. Both my mom and sister knows that I write fanfics, and most of my friends know too (and they read my past fics). I'm planning to make a new one and show it to all of them once it gets big and has at least 20 chapters. ^^

My older sister, and two friends know I read and write fan fiction, and all three of them read and write fan fiction too. Me, my older sister and another friend all like kpop, so it's kpop fan fiction, and we all like the same groups and ship the same otps, well kind of, but we don't bash each others ships. The other friend reads and writes Supernatural, Marvel, and stuff like that fan fiction. And we all read each others stuff, but only if we send each other the links. And when we get together, we talk about fan fiction, well not as much as we used to as of lately. My family knows I write, but not fan fiction, but at least I hope so, lol.
