When motivation is zero...

Can anyone relate? Right now my motivation is somewhere, I need to read a book of psychology. Then I must write 6 essays about psychology and then if I have time also take notes for finals and memorize the book for my exam that is on Monday (not next Monday but after it) so basically I have one full week and my teacher thinks I already did everything so I can't ask more time! No need to say that I haven't attended for even one lesson so I can't just memorize what the teacher said...

And then next Tuesday I have a history test but my motivation left me I have done only some highlighting. I also have tests about English, Swedish (I'm ed) philosophy and social studies HOW DO I GET MY MOTIVATION BACK???

ugh stupid enter key

Anyways, I don't have much advice, but I guess one technique that sort of helps me (but not really) is to promise myself a reward (e.g. I get to watch a video of my favorite group; or I get to visit this site and read some new fanfics) if I complete an assignment.

yeah I can relate. Sometimes it's the last minute and I still don't feel any motivation. Pressure used to help me a lot, but now it doesn't seem to have the same effect.

@Korekrypta That's my main problem. I thought two of my friends had that class but it turns out no one I know has it so no one can give me notes :c they're having it next year, because usually I just memorize the notes...

I can totally relate to you!! I use to have a lot of motivation but nowadays its nowhere to be found. I think it really has to do with doing the same thing for too long. Unfortunately I don't have a solution for you, but I know one thing that I had to do was just force myself to do the task. It's always afterwards that I realize it wasn't the task that made me feel less motivated, it was my mental thoughts that inhibited my productivity. I hope it all works out for you. =)

But seriously, tidy your room.

Also, ask any friends who do the same course if they have notes.

An essay a day is doable if you have the material you need to write them (assuming your essays are between 1000-2000 words), but you will quite literally need to do one a day. If it's the same topics as what'll be on your final, it'll serve pretty well for revision.

You can do it - just persevere!

This is going to sound counter-intuitive, but if you want to regain motivation, a really good way to do it is completely cleaning your room, make it as neat as possible etc. It's much easier to get on with stuff if you're organised with the things around you.

No joke. You can't study last minute. You can but unless you're crazy like me then you can at least get a passing mark. But that only if you attend the class or maybe if you're a genius then maybe you can do it. If you are up for being crazy then I suggest you to read psychology one day and next day is history. Understand them first. Read them like a damn novel. Lol. Then the rest of 3 days spend with memorizing. The other 2 days are answering the small quizzes.
