I just want to honestly hear what you guys' reasons to start writing was.
For me, it wasn't anything deep and meaningful like I write to escape reality or anything like that. The one and only reason why I started writing was so I can create a story that I have no complaint about. It sounds very snobbish and cocky of me, yeah I know but hear me out guys. I am not a very excellent writer in fact I am mediocre at best but I am an avid reader. I read from both physical published book to ebook, self published stories on wattpad and fanfiction on AFF but you know whenever you read something, there will always be a scene or whatever that make you very frustrated and think to yourself, it could have been better or different. And then you conjure up a whole another scenario in your head, one that you're happy with.
So one day, after finished this great but equally frustrate story, I thought to myself, why don't I just put my ideas into a story, that way I won't be complaining in my head about how the author could have done it differently. Can any of you relate to this haha?
Anyways, what was your reason for wanting to write?
