Love in the Moonlight is so cute and amazing.The ending is very beautiful too(love bo gum),Wild Romance(so funny),Healer(((chi chang wook and park min young rock))),Princess's Hours1,I hear your voice(Lee Jung Suk acts so emotionally in it),Who are U?:School 2015(Nam Joo Hyuk sooooooo handsome),Good Doctor(So amazing).....There so many other dramas but I only remember these ones now.

I'm just going to get right into it: Heirs, Boys over flowers, Emergency Couple, The K2, Scarlet Heart, I remember you, Remember, Masters Sun, Rooftop Prince, Faith, Yong Pal, Sassy Go Go, School 2013, School 2015, W, Pinocchio, Girl who sees smell, Blood, Secret Garden. There are too many to name-Don't want to type all night. For films I recommend: The man from nowhere, Fourth Period Mystery and TRAIN TO BUSAN!

Currently, I'm watching the K2 and Shopping King Louis. The K2 is action/politics/romance and Yoona acts well in it with Ji Chang Wook. It has an interesting storyline so far and chemistry between the main leads are great. Shopping King Louis is a lot more light-hearted, funny, and the romance in there is sweet. Got me in tears in the previous episodes. Seo In Guk and Nam Ji Hyun interact well in the drama. I'd recommend Reply 1997 and 1988 too, although I am hesitant to put 1988 because I never finished it. 1988 was too heavy and crying every episode was tiring haha. W is interesting as well, especially at the start. But I didn't think they wrapped it up well because they kept introducing new things without fully explaining how the connections between the real and manhwa world works so I was rather dissatisfied at the end. Needless to say, Lee Jong Suk acts well and the female protaganist's father had great acting as well. The Good Wife is a great drama as well. Nana acts very well in it, but you should only watch this if you aren't homophobic because Nana's character is biual (which is a great improvement for Korean society).

I'm only gonna recommend recent dramas (like 2015-) because if I did all the fun dramas I watched it'd be forever, lol.

Age of Youth, Another Oh Hae Young, Come Back Mister, Fool's Love, Oh My Ghostess, Producer (even though it does lag a bit towards the end), Splash Splash Love, Jealousy Incarnate (actually ANYTHING with Gong Hyojin is pretty much guaranteed to be good like the Greatest Love, Pasta, or Master's Sun), and that's all I can think of for lighthearted dramas.

You should also try watching some Korean films as well! Sunny is a really great movie, as well as Miss Granny (if you're looking for comedy!).

i haven't really seen that many dramas yet, but my friend keeps recommending She Was Pretty to me, so maybe check that one out? she also recommended Oh My Venus. sorry if these aren't your style, but i don't think the ones i've seen would be good picks for you based on your specifications... i hope you like them tho! have fun on your break~!

just my personal opinion on some recommendations here - in case you're picky like me:
"49 days" - extremely boring and silly,also kinda sad but the fact that is boring makes it less sad -and because everyone kept recommending it to me i watched it but nah...
"my gf is a gumiho " - average but cute
"i can hear your voice " - great , such feelings, much wow
"my love from another star" - great SF - extremely funny
"school 2013" - good, very dramatic but not much love there (spoiler: no kiss)
"its okay its love " - average and sad but also good OST - much love i have to say,very romantic
"city hunter" - old but gold - MUST watch - has everything in it from action to love to drama and mistery
!! WHAT I RECOMMEND !! - of course, personal preferences, and in no particular order:
-i can hear your voice - very unique,dramatic but fluffy
-city hunter - see above
-She was Pretty - very very good and funny (siwon is gold ya hear me)
-Healer - a bit similar to city hunter - i mean action and love plus the same actress is playing the main role - this is pure gold
-Secret - this is EXTREMELY SAD AND VIOLENT BUT WORTH IT cause the storyline is great - give it a try - i cried A LOT
-W - very original and dramatic - and lee jong suk <3 so yeah - just that the chemistry between them is at 90% - at least from my point of view - because of her character maybe, idk - but story is very complex and keeps you close
-descendants of the sun - great story - great actors - much love - MUST WATCH (plus song joong ki is everything you should know better than me)
-another oh hae young - this is very interesting and super FUNNY - and also kinda sad sometimes - but sidestory is great and OST is also great and the actress is gold - also NEVERTHELESS the main female is very UNIQUE -not like every other main female role - shameless and just very honest and overall a strong woman which i love - so a must watch

Kill me Heal Me! Plot is good, actor is crazily good acting different characters. 2nd male lead is handsome af-- Story keeps you coming for more... just watch it you'll understand!

'Please come back, Mister' is both hilarious and heartbreaking. It's my favourite K-drama in this year.
