Chapter 66: Well, . I was tearing up reading the second-to-last chapter (not counting bonus), and I did end up shedding quite a few tears reading the last one. I had kind of guessed Jongin would be the one to perish (after your warning that there might be character death, and to just guess someone), even though I doubted it, but I got about halfway through the fic before I started suspecting it would be Lu Han - especially the blood test and his reaction to it.
Still made me cry, especially with how he transformed while in their care ):
A thing I really like with the years between TBBC and BS is how different (mature) the characters are, and I specifically look at Semi when saying that. Like, of course she's going to be more mature years later once everything has settled and she's been treated for PTSD and kids and everything, but she seems much calmer and I really like that. She's grown into herself (does that make sense?) and it's lovely. The kids are also fun, and of course, considering their lineage, they have to be as they are ;)
I love a glimpse into Minseok and Lu Han's friendship, and I really love Lu Han growing softer as time goes (or at least letting down his guards) - WHICH IS WHY THE ENDING HURTS, but it's also kind of fitting, you know? Like, I would've loved if he'd lived, and it could've worked, too, I guess, but... he would've also had to go to prison - and the three bullets did a lot of damage, and and and and. But. It fit. And he said his apologies and goodbyes, and realised he could have better than he had, and that's good. He did something amazing to protect the ones he loved - and to atone for what he has done.
I forgot to say so in my most recent comment on TBBC (but perhaps I've said said it years before?) - Sehun is a lovable person in both fics. I really enjoy him, and it's nice to see more of him in this one, and slowly falling for Weiyi in the meantime ;)
Also noteworthy are Jongin and Kyungsoo - precious fluffballs, kind of, err, that they are. I loved their teamwork and scenes together :D
I liked seeing Taeyong in this one. I had wondered if he'd show up, and I was a little surprised with the way he showed up - but then, we only ever really saw his mother in TBBC, and they were busy a lot, the parents, even though I'd thought them better than this.
So, a really lovely sequel, my friend - but I never for a second doubted that. Action, suspense, love, family, humour - it has it all. (Except fantasy, but hey, that's a different genre not fitting this, lol.) Your writing is, per usual, fantastic, and your way of building up the plot is amazing and I do not understand how you do it. (Do you plot scenes and then write them, putting them together later, or do you stick to consecutive writing? I got the sense from a message of yours that you "put together the scenes", which bemused me.)
I always sit back thinking I haven't said half of what I wanted, but not remembering what the rest was. So. Well. Whoop XD
Chapter 63: I don't think I've ever cried so much because of a story. I'm so sad because of Luhan my face looks so ugly right now because I've been bawling while reading the last chapter. I can't stop
This story is a masterpiece thank you soo much for writing this amazing trilogy!! I've read TBBC around two years ago but never came around to read blood sister. I'm just happy I finally had the time. Still sad about luhan tho
Chapter 63: I will miss luhan for sure althoyght in minseok story he was an ashole but he change and love minseok family. He is bright and try to be minseok children friend. Sehun and weiyi story, i need more of them. In the story only contain maybe less than a month but there are 58 chapters it show how detail you make this for your reader to understand the situation well. Thank you for this great story.
Chapter 61: Iam crying when luhan save jaera, he loves minseok children even tho they were always bickering. He thankful tiward minseok family to have him when he need shelter. Iam crying right now.
Chapter 38: It makes me really sad when i know luhan will die because of how much love he gets from minseok family. Sehun and weiyi i hope they can save and my instink telling me sangchu search weiyi not only because his secret but weiyi body too right?
Chapter 9: I don't like love triangle too because i feel bad for the other party and i can't stand sadness. Thats why i really picky with story even its good story if the plot consist love triangle i will skip it. Scene iam waiting is when sehun meet weiyi and i feel like their story will complicated one because i read preview chapter 36 maybe they in running situation.
Chapter 66: Hey korey, this fic is sooooo good and I actually rereading this because I just keep on reminded by how great this fic is... I just so badly want a Yixing and Seulgi side story now ~\(≧▽≦)/~
