Chapter 9: Wow that was resolved really well. When chapter 8 came, I was MAD at you. I had not expected it at all and it felt so out of nowhere, and not in a good way. But it was too soon so I didn't comment. But chapter 9 made it all complete. The explanation, the review. Your writing style is so beautiful. The ending to each section of writing is perfect and each character is well thought out and built up wholly, even if they only show up for a few seconds in the story. The whole story was amazing but this last chapter was just breathtaking. The different parts that made up this chapter wrapped up everything about this story and left me satisfied. The theme of the whole story finally being made clear: home.

Chapter 3: ooof this chapter really hit me. The progress of the relationship between Tao and Kris and that end. Written really well. I love all the ties to their culinary training. This story reminds me of some culinary moviest
I cannot believe I haven't read this yet, I had it bookmarked from last year and I swear to god, your writing is so beautiful and packed full of emotions! Heck, I felt nostalgic for something I don't have reading this XD (if that makes the slightest bit of sense)

Chapter 9: Holy crap where do I even start?? The emotions in this story were so poignant, so the characterization so believable and entertaining, I was literally tearing up when Tao wanted to leave. I understood his restlessness, and I'm so glad Kris did too. And when Kris finally got it, it was actually palpable. The plot was wonderfully executed, nothing felt unnecessary or forced. And every so often there would just be those simple sentences that packed such a big punch at just the right moment, like when Tao cut himself with the knife. Excuse me for saying that those short sentences were so cutting because of the impact they added to the moment. The music was also wonderful and perfectly complimented the action, and the immense knowledge of wine and food here really lends credence to Kris and Tao's professions. There was literally nothing about this story that was in any way less than wonderful. Thank you so much for this beautiful, emotional, well-written, captivating story.
