The following Tuesday, Minyoung woke up to a light weight around her waist. She looked down and noticed it was L's arm. 

"Yah, L, what are you doing here?! It's the girls' dorm!" Minyoung exclaimed. 

L groggily opened his eyes, "I stayed her so I could watch over you." 

Minyoung's muscles relaxed. She looked at the alarm clock by her bedside. *Oh, it's the day.* 

She sighed and got up. Her expression became very stiff. 

"Jagi? What's wrong?" L asked. 

"Today... It's today." Minyoung sighed. 

"What's with today?" L furrowed his eyebrows. 

"Nevermind. I won't be attending lessons today." Minyoung walked over to her closet. 

L stood up, baffled. "Bwoh? You just got discharged yesterday and you're skipping school?" 

"It's not skipping school in my perspective." Minyoung said in a soft voice, close to a whisper. "It's almost 10. You should get up now." 

L warily got up and kissed her on the cheek. He left with a dumbfounded expression. 

Minyoung sighed as L left the room. *I wish I could tell you what today was. But it breaks my heart too much.*

While he was walking to class, HeeRin bumped into him. 

"Oh, Myungsoo. Have you seen Minyoungie?" HeeRin asked. 

L eyed the bouquet in her hands. "Yah, what are those for? She's not in the hospital anymore." 

"Don't tell me you don't know." HeeRin raised an eyebrow in disbelief. L shook his head. 

HeeRin sighed, "It's her parents' death anniversary today. Every year if there's school on that day, or today, she would skip it and spend the whole day at her parents' grave." 

L widened his eyes. He felt bad for accusing her of skipping school for no apparent reason. 

"I'm going to find her and go with her." HeeRin went pass L and walked to her room. 

*Maybe I should follow and apologize.* L secretly crept behind his sister.
