Can't I just send someone else to attend that party?

I told my secretary. I was already home when she called me to inform that one of our new investor wants me to attend that gathering. That will be in exchange of him signing the contract we have offered. When she said no, I just sighed in defeat which earned a chuckle from my wife. I just glared at her in return and she covered immediately, trying to annoy me more.

Have you ever felt something tugging the insides of your chest? I've been restless since that day for no known reason. My company is just starting and we've been receiving good reviews and acknowledgement about it. Which also means that I have to attend more gatherings like this to establish my name and our company.
