Moonbyul was already inside their dorm, anticipating for her roommate to arrive. Her thoughts are still filled with the music she heard earlier. She doesn't even need an experience to tell that it was a good song. Shortly, the door opened—
"Solar, l'm a fan."
"We only played just one song and you're already a fan?"
"So?"
"Okay."
Solar opened one of her boxes and took out an electric keyboard. She played a chord, and a chord after another— it became a melody.
You're the only view my eyes could see
You're the only sound my ears could hear
You're the only word my mouth could speak
You're the only lyrics my hand could write
You're the only chord my fingers could press
'Cause when I look at you I'm dischorded
But my heart beats in rhythm
The harmony and melody which my heart created
Is the music of my love for you
"It's a work in progress."
Byul was completely mesmerized by her voice, by her music— it was the first time she heard the girl sang. If she were to describe what is she feeling at this particular moment, she'd say like a fisherman who heard a mermaid sang and now she's completely lured.
"So what do you think, Moonbyul?"
"I'm looking forward to your finished work."
"Hard to finish when you don't have any inspiration."
"I know the feeling, I can't even finish a single canvas. To be honest, I have lots of wip."
"Think of it as your own art style."
Byulyi chuckled.
"What's your schedule, Moonbyul?"
"Night classes, because I'm nocturnal."
"Too bad, my classes are in the morning."
"Hmm?"
"Thought I'd offer you coffee, tomorrow morning."
"You had me at coffee. I want the sweetest one they have."
