Charlie and Serena were bustling about, preparing for the upcoming Camping Trip at Mt. Freely with the rest of the Special Class.

While packing, Serena couldn't help but notice that Charlie still wasn't wearing the Rose Quartz bracelet she had given her.

Her brows furrowed in concern.

"Charlie..." Serena called out to her girlfriend, who was busy organizing their gear.

"Why aren't you wearing the rose quartz bracelet? Do you not like it anymore?" Serena said frowning.

Charlie chuckled softly in response.

"Well, I was actually waiting for you to put it on for me again..." Charlie replied with a playful smile.

"Oh, I see... So, where did you put it then?" Serena asked, intrigued.

"It's in the drawer of my study table..." Charlie answered.

Serena made her way to Charlie's study table and opened the drawer, finding the Rose Quartz bracelet resting on top of a notebook. Another item caught her eye—a yellow notebook labeled "The Plot."

Intrigued, Serena picked up the notebook and inspected it.

"Hey, Charlie, what is this?" Serena questioned, showing the notebook to Charlie.

Charlie's eyes widened in alarm as she saw Serena holding the notebook.

'Oh no! She can't see that! That's where I've written everything about this manhua world!' Charlie panicked internally as she rushed over to Serena's side and swiftly snatched the notebook away.

"Hehe... This is nothing!! Can you put the bracelet on now?!" Charlie deflected, attempting to change the subject.

Serena laughed at Charlie's reaction.

"Do you have a secret or something?" Serena teased lightly.

"N-nope! I don't!! Bracelet now!!" Charlie insisted, extending her arm towards Serena.

"Okay, okay...." Serena chuckled, complying with Charlie's request.

"Now... don't ever remove this again, okay?" Serena said gently as she fastened the bracelet onto Charlie's wrist.

Charlie smiled warmly in response.

"Um!" She nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her.

The next day at Mt. Freely,

"Okay students, you should now pair up with the person assigned to be your partners!" Mr. Hastings said.

As the students dispersed to find their assigned partners, Charlie's reluctance to let go of Serena was evident. Pouting, Charlie clung to Serena's arm, protesting against the idea of parting ways with her.

"I don't wanna give you to Cato!" Charlie declared with a pout, her expression resembling that of a stubborn child.

Serena couldn't help but chuckle at Charlie's adorable antics, finding her pout endearing. Pinching Charlie's cheeks gently, Serena tried to reassure her.

"Come on now, don't be a baby.... It's not like we're never going to see each other again," Serena said soothingly, her tone affectionate.

Before Charlie could respond, Selena's voice interrupted their moment.

"Hey, Charlie! What are you still doing there? Come here!" Selena called out impatiently, her arms crossed in annoyance at Charlie's clinginess to Serena.

Serena shot Selena a brief glare, feeling slightly unsettled by her brusque manner.

"I'll see you later, okay?" Charlie said, still pouting as she reluctantly let go of Serena's arm.

"Um," Serena replied with a smile, watching Charlie and Selena walk away.

As Charlie and Selena moved off, Serena couldn't shake off the unease that Selena's presence seemed to evoke in her.

'Ugh... I don't like the way she boss Charlie around...' Serena thought.

"Hey, Serena! Let's go?" Cato's voice broke Serena out of her thoughts, and she nodded in response, following him as they headed off together.

After all the students have paired up, Mr. Hastings gathered everyone's attention again.

"Now that you're all paired up! We're going to play a fun game called the Scavenger Hunt!" Mr. Hastings announced with a wide grin.

"The rules are simple," he continued, his voice carrying over the excited chatter of the students. "Each pair will receive a list of items to find scattered around the camping site. You'll need to work together with your partner to locate and collect these treasures."

He held up a stack of papers, each containing a list of various items.

"Here are your lists," Mr. Hastings said, distributing the papers to each pair. "You'll notice there's a mix of natural and man-made items to find. Make sure to mark off each item as you collect it."

The students eagerly examined their lists, whispering and pointing out the items to their partners.

"Remember," Mr. Hastings continued, "safety first! Stay within the designated search area, and be mindful of your surroundings. And please, no running or roughhousing. We want everyone to have fun while staying safe."

He glanced around, ensuring that everyone was paying attention before concluding, "Alright, pairs, on your marks, get set, go! Happy hunting!"

With that, the pairs scattered in all directions, their laughter echoing through the forest as they embarked on their scavenger hunt adventure.

As the game began, Charlie and Selena set off, their partnership akin to cats and dogs. Selena's competitive nature clashed with Charlie's laid-back demeanor, creating a dynamic filled with playful banter and occasional bickering.
