Charlie entered their classroom, her thoughts consumed by the worry that Serena might have skipped breakfast again. However, her concern was quickly overshadowed by annoyance as she spotted yet another Mango cake sitting on her desk.

'Who keeps on giving me these mango cakes?! Serena has an allergy to mangoes!' Charlie grumbled inwardly, feeling a twinge of frustration.

"Hey, Mimi, you can have this!" Charlie offered the cake to her classmate, eager to rid herself of the troublesome dessert.

"Thanks, Charlie! I'll enjoy it!" Mimi accepted the cake with gratitude.

With the Mango cake dilemma resolved, Charlie turned her attention to Serena's desk, where she found her roommate engrossed in studying.

"Hey, you went to school early today and you haven't eaten breakfast yet... I asked Aunt Carol to pack you a sandwich..." Charlie said, offering Serena the sandwich.

"Thank you," Serena replied appreciatively, accepting the sandwich from Charlie.

As Serena began to eat, Charlie found herself inexplicably captivated by her. There was something about Serena's focused demeanor that drew Charlie in, making even the simple act of eating a sandwich seem enchanting.

"W-why are you staring at me? Is there something on my face?" Serena asked, noticing Charlie's gaze.

"No... I just like looking at you..." Charlie replied with a genuine smile, unable to tear her eyes away.

Serena blushed furiously, nearly choking on her sandwich in surprise.

"H-hey, be careful! Here, drink this apple juice," Charlie said, offering Serena the juice to help her recover.

"Um, thanks," Serena murmured, gratefully accepting the juice and taking a sip to compose herself.

Charlie just sat there watching Serena eats...

"Why didn't you eat the mango cake?" Serena asked, finally voicing the question that had been on her mind for some time.

Charlie's smile was warm as she responded, "Well, it's not that I don't like the cake at first... it's just that I don't know who gave it... who knows, it might be some weirdo, and since you're allergic to mangoes, then I don't want them anymore too."

Serena struggled to suppress a smile at Charlie's playful explanation.

"Then what if it's not a weirdo who gave it to you? What if it's someone really pretty..." Serena probed again.

"Is she as pretty as you?" Charlie countered playfully.

Serena felt her cheeks flush at Charlie's response. "I-I don't know..." she replied, her voice barely above a whisper.

Charlie's grin widened mischievously. "Well, it doesn't even matter, I'm not really looking for any romance in my life! Even if I like someone, I will not confess before I graduate!" Her words were light-hearted, but Serena couldn't help but feel a pang of disappointment.

'If I'm still alive by then... maybe I could finally confess to you...' Charlie thought to herself.

"Um," Serena murmured in response, unsure of what to say.

"What about you, Serena? Do you like anyone?" Charlie the followed to ask.

Serena paused...

before she could answer the bell rang which signifies that classes are about to start.

"The class is starting... Go back to your seat..." Serena said with smiling innocently.

"Hmmmp..." Charlie pouted in mock disappointment, but obediently returned to her seat.

Amidst the bustling preparations for the upcoming Sports Day at Hastings Academy, Charlie found herself fully immersed in her role as the Sports Coordinator for their grade. The event was a highlight on every student's calendar, promising a day b with spirited competition and camaraderie.

With signup sheets overflowing with eager participants from the Alpha and Beta categories, Charlie encountered a dilemma when it came to recruiting Omegas. Naturally, Omegas were often considered to be at a disadvantage compared to their Alpha and Beta peers, with sports not typically being their strong suit.

"Sister Charlie, remember last year when Serena beat all the other Omegas and clinched first place? Why not ask her to join again?" Leora suggested, her curiosity piqued as she sipped on her beloved taro milk tea.

"Yeah, Serena's strength stands out among Omegas. Is it because she's an S-Class?" Alice chimed in, offering her own perspective on the matter.

Charlie paused, contemplating their input. "Well, Serena injured her leg during spring break... I'm concerned it might be risky for her to participate in the marathon," she explained, voicing her reservations about Serena's safety.

"Spring break?!" Leora exclaimed, surprised by Charlie's revelation. She wondered if Charlie was perhaps being overly cautious.

"But that was months ago... Serena's fully recovered now, isn't she? Her legs seem as strong as ever," Alice reasoned, attempting to reassure Charlie about Serena's capabilities.

Despite their differing viewpoints, Charlie couldn't shake her sense of responsibility for Serena's well-being. She made a mental note to discuss the possibility of Serena joining the marathon, ensuring her safety remained the top priority. After all, Serena's tenacity and determination were undeniable, and Charlie knew she'd be a formidable contender if given the opportunity.

Charlie's efforts to recruit Omegas for the marathon were met with reluctance, if not outright resistance. As she approached another Omega classmate, her enthusiasm was swiftly met with a hasty retreat, leaving Charlie feeling disheartened.

"Sister Charlie, do you realize that was the tenth Omega you've tried to convince? They're all avoiding you!" Leora pointed out while letting out a chuckle.

"Those Omegas... getting cornered like that by this Alpha... so pitiful..." Alice added, teasing Charlie.

Leor and Alice: ^.^

Meanwhile, in the classroom, Serena was engrossed in her studies, poring over textbooks on business finance and economics. Her tutor, Ms. Malori Chen, had provided her with materials to review independently, guiding her through the intricate concepts and formulas. Serena was determined to grasp each nuance with diligence and focus.

But amidst her studies, Serena couldn't help but overhear snippets of conversation from her classmates nearby.

"I'm hiding from Charlie! She's cornering me to join the marathon race for Omegas!" one student confessed.

"She keeps telling me I'm beautiful and then proceeds to tell me to join the race!!" another added, frustration evident in their voice.

"That's why I avoided the west wing... I saw her and her friends interrogating Omegas! I feel scared for my lif
