As the filming of "Heart Rumble" progressed, Victoria and Nichkhun found themselves spending more and more time together. What had started as a tentative, civil interaction had gradually evolved into something resembling friendship. It had been over a decade since their virtual marriage on "We Got Married," and both had changed in many ways.

One sunny afternoon, between takes, they sat in their respective chairs, going over their lines for the final episode. Victoria looked up from her script and glanced at Nichkhun, who was engrossed in his own lines. She couldn't help but smile.

"You know," she began, "I never thought we'd end up working together again."

Nichkhun looked up, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Yeah, it's been quite the journey. We've both come a long way since those days, haven't we?"

Victoria nodded. "Definitely. I must admit, I had my reservations about working with you again, but you've surprised me." Then she added, getting a bit cheeky in good fun: "You've become a better actor." 

Nichkhun chuckled. "And you, Victoria, are even more amazing than I remembered. You're a true professional."

Their candid compliments marked a significant shift in their relationship. It was no longer just about polite professionalism; they were genuinely starting to appreciate each other's talents and qualities.

As the final episode's filming continued, they found themselves sharing stories of their lives outside of work. Nichkhun talked about his niece, Jinjer and his sister Cherreen and the challenges of juggling music with acting, while Victoria shared that her parents were doing well, as well as her experiences when she started to focus on benig an actress, also the cultural shock she encountered coming back to China after having lived in both South Korea for a long time.

Each revelation chipped away at the prejudices they didn't know had built up from when they left off after working together in their younger days; the decade-long of non-contact. Victoria was reminded of how Nichkhun's demeanor towards women, which could indeed be easily misconstrued as a flirting, came from a place of genuine caring and warmth and Nichkhun saw again that Victoria's coldness or seemingly aloof nature wasn't arrogance but a result of her intense focus at the work at hand, a positive trait that gave her this hard-earned success as she was now an A-list actresss in China.

On the last day of filming, there was an air of nostalgia mixed with excitement. The crew and staff had become a close-knit family over the course of the project, and it was time to bid farewell to the set that had become their second home.

As they wrapped up the final scene, the director called for a break, and the cast and crew gathered in a circle. Victoria and Nichkhun stood side by side, their once-distant relationship now transformed into at least willingness to give their friendship a blank slate. It had been fun to reminisce the old days when they were young, the silly things they did as they goofed around; in short, the golden days when work seemed play and they were just having a blast.

The director raised a glass. "To 'Heart Rumble' and the incredible team that brought it to life!"

The crew cheered in unison, and glasses clinked as they toasted to their success. It was a moment of pure joy and camaraderie, and Victoria and Nichkhun couldn't help but smile at each other, their past differences now fading into the background.

After the celebrations, as they prepared to head out for a dinner and drinks celebration, Nichkhun turned to Victoria. "Hey, Victoria-ssi" he said with a mischievous twinkle in his eye, "I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad we got the chance to work together again."

Victoria softly smiled. "Me too, Nichkhun-ssi. It's been quite the journey, hasn't it?"

And with that, they joined the rest of the crew, ready to embrace whatever adventures the future held for their rekindled friendship.
