Day 23
100 Days...
“I never knew you’re good at acting.”
“She used to be a musical theater star during high school.”
“I really liked to sing back then.”
“Good thing Joy suggested you as back-up since our theater member got into an accident.”
“What about now?”
“What about ‘what’?”
“Do you still like to sing?”
“She only sings in the bathroom these days.”
“Hey, stop laughing.”
“But it’s true though.”
(“She’s still deeply staring at me with her brown orbs, waiting for an answer.”)
“Well… I gotta keep up with my grades for my scholarship and I can’t have any distractions.”
“I have to give a huge thanks to you for accepting the sudden request.”
“No need. This giant here had been pestering me for days.”
“We’re not interrupting your schedule aren’t we?”
“Not at all since the finals just ended.”
(“Why is she so quiet?”)
“As thanks, let me treat you to dinner today.”
“Hey, that’s not fair. I was the one who recruited her, where’s my treat?”
“Hahaha, I’ll treat the three of you since I’ve been annoying my friend here to at least come see our practice or even try out the club, but she never did for three years, until now of course.”
(“She’s side hugging her and she still looks lost in her own world.”)
“It’s the power of this little midget here.”
“It’s because you’ve never treated me before, Seul.”
“How could I treat you when you never came here, Joo.”
(“They seem close.”)
(“This is the first time I’ve seen her being so touchy with someone besides me. They must’ve known each other for a long time.”)
“What are you spacing out there, Wannie? Let’s go.”
“Wait, there’s still some sweat left on your face.”
(“Was it necessary to wipe me with her bare hands? When she could’ve told me that and I would wipe it with my handkerchief.”)
“Midget, hurry up!”
;
“Seulgi seems nice.”
“She is, and I’m glad you’re getting along with her.”
“She’s a friendly one.”
(“The dinner went great and Joohyun is taking me back to my apartment while holding my hands. The atmosphere is calming me somehow and I’ve gotten used to holding her soft hand.”)
“So… you like to sing?”
“A bit.”
“Can you sing for me?”
“There’s a talent fee for it.”
“How much?”
“Are you seriously going to pay me just to sing for you?”
“Of course.”
“I was only joking when I said that.”
“So… you can’t sing for me?”
“It’s been a long time since I’ve sung in front of people and I’m not sure if I’m good enough.”
“I think you’ll still sound as lovely as before.”
“You’re only saying that since you haven’t heard me sing.”
