I woke up early in the morning, firstly checking the temperature of the girl who’s still sleeping soundly. Thank goodness that her temperature’s back to normal.

I cooked us breakfast. Just light breakfast, since she’s still recovering. I went inside her room and set aside the tray with food on the bedside table.

She suddenly stirred in her sleep, her eyes slowly opening up. Her hands stretching until she realizes my presence, which made her lips sprout a small smile.

She sat on the bed, peering through me with the as I opted to sit on the chair I’ve prepared while taking care of her. I set aside the tray of food on her bedside table, getting the mini table for breakfast in bed.

She tilted her head as she greeted me.

“Or am I still dreaming?” Her eyes following my movements, as I brought forth the mini table in front of her, putting the plate of food for her to eat.

“Good morning, Joohyun. You shouldn’t skip any meals next time, especially when you’re sick.”

I smiled at her. It seemed that she’s really back to normal with how her face brightened up. Her paled exterior no longer plastered on her face, instead it’s back to a healthier pinkish tone on her cheeks.

“And I thought I was just having a good dream.” Her eyes looked down at the plate, then, she lopsidedly smiled at me. “When all this time, it’s a reality. I would’ve woken up earlier if I knew some angel was going to take care of me.”

I brushed the last comment, considering her flirty nature on account. I opted to ask for her state, just to be sure that she’s really recovering.

“I am. Thank you for taking good care of me.”
