Heeyoung’s POV
I stared at the ceiling with a bored look on my face and headphones stuck on my head. I turned the volume up a bit, Nirvana’s Heart Shaped Box almost hurting my ears with the force the loud noise was coming out but I couldn’t care less. I shifted uncomfortably, pulling my yellow, think sweater down to cover my stomach and sighed.
It’s been two days since the witch has arrived and they were still staying at our place since their furniture hasn’t arrived yet. Like I cared, for Pete’s sake. They could’ve stayed at the hotel! Especially when Jiyeon and father acted like freaking rabbits, which was also hurting mom in a way. She wouldn’t admit it but that was visible on her face every morning. Why were they so cruel, really?
“Yah, pig!” I suddenly felt a sharp pain on my lower stomach and I spotted one of my shoes on the bed.
“What do you want?” I asked in a bored tone, raising an eyebrow at Seyong who was standing next to the bed with crossed arms.
“We’re going clubbing today.”
“Excuse me?” I raised an eyebrow and rolled my eyes. “How about no?”
“How about heck yes.” She hissed and squinted, her large eyes turning into thin lines for a second. “Look here, sweetheart. Baekhyun asked me to come but dad says that if I go, I need to drag you with myself. How unfair?” She sighed deeply and I stared at her for a second, keeping a straight face. “So, as you can see, in order for me to go, you must go as well. Go it? I ho—“
Ouch. Baekhyun? I could’ve predicted.
“No.”
“What?” She looked at me, astonished.
“I said no.” I shrugged, laying back down. “I won’t go.”
“How can you…” She gasped and took a deep breath. “You’re going. I don’t care if you want to or not – you’re going.”
“My answer remains the same.” I sang and laughed, putting earphones on with a smile spread on my face. “I don’t care who invited you and where, I said I’m not going, especially not with you.”
“You’re so damn boring.” Seyong exclaimed as she plopped down on her bed, ruffling her perfectly styled hair. I rolled my eyes and tapped fingers against my stomach, trying to ignore her.
“Daddy?” She suddenly cooed, making my gag reflexes come to life. I looked over at her and saw her staring at me with a sly grin spread across her face. “I’m sorry to bother but…” She suddenly sighed. “Yes, yes. Guess because of who?” She made a face at me and I responded by sticking out my tongue at her. “She won’t go, unfortunately. Yeah, yeah, I’ll let her know. Okay. Thank you, goodbye and see you soon.”
“What now?” I asked, scrunching my face in annoyance.
“Let’s just say that if you aren’t going to go, you’re doomed.” She smiled sweetly. “Daddy’s gonna take care of you.”
“I’m not scared of your father.” Your father. As if she was his real daughter, and not me.
“You should be.” She chuckled and walked towards me once again, raising an eyebrow. “Trust me, you really want to live with me in peace. ”Her voice filled the room and I stood up as well, facing her with raised eyebrow. “My one move can ruin your life. Who do you think they’re gonna believe if something accidentally happens?” She giggled cutely, making me want to throw up once again. “A rebellious girl that rarely comes out of her room unless necessary or the perfect daughter with perfect grades since forever?”
I bit my lower lip and took a deep breath, calculating everything in my head. What she said was nothing but truth. She was right. Even my mom was sometimes dragged by her to her side, not to mention her dad. I shook my head and walked past her, bumping my shoulder against hers with a force, almost making her stumble.
“Fine. I’ll go.”
And with that I left the room, huffing in visible anger.
Baekhyun’s POV
”Baekhyun hyung.” Jongin sighed and looked at me with a frown. “Do you really think it’s a good idea?”
“Why not?” I asked, looking through my clothes to
