Chapter 25: Truth

“GG, why are you and Wang Zi holding hands?” I ask them.
GG drops WZ hands and look a different direction.
I walk up to her, “GG, why were you two holding hands?”
“Can’t friends hold hands?” GG asks.
“Usually not a guy and a girl,” I answer, “Or is it that… you two are dat—“
“Friends?” Aaron repeats, “Wang Zi told me that you guys are dating.”
“Dating?” Hebe repeats, “And you didn’t tell me, Gui?”
“You didn’t tell me either.” GG say back, “And so what if we are dating. What are you guys going to do?”
“We’re happy for you two!” Hebe says for her and Aaron.
“Didn’t I tell you, you can’t date anybody while I’m gone,” I say to GG.

GG’s POV;
“Didn’t I tell you, you can’t date anybody while I’m gone,” Calvin says.
‘Please don’t take this so seriously…’
“Well, I have to do something while you’re gone.” I answer, which to be honest, is a lie.
“Seriously Gui.”
“Why don’t you tell me why you didn’t come?” I ask him.
“I didn’t come because…” Calvin started to say then pull Genie in front of him again, “Because we’re getting married.”
“Oh Genie, you can do better than that…” I say to Genie, “I mean to Calvin?”
