Chapter 20 – Suprise

Taeyeon’s POV

Everything was wrong, everything was ruined. I sat at the family table looking at my dad. He was announcing something so absurd I can’t even comprehend. Yhh this must be some crazy weird dream, a nightmare. People started talking, looking at me, waiting for me to speak up. Give some reaction to this, this … news my father just declared.

My sister sitting next to me held my hands and gave me a reassuring look. You can do it Taeyeon, tell him, tell them what you want.

“I …. I…. this is … you are crazy” I stood up and looked at my father

“Taeyeon!” my mother gave me a stern look

“It’s ok darling. Tae honey, this is for the best”

“The best? For who?”

 “For all of us”

“No, no this is just for your stupid company”

“Taeyeon, enough!! That stupid company gave you this perfect life”

“Perfect life? Please dad”

“Mum, dad Taeyeon has a life, she is still young” my sister backed me up

“Nothing will change my mind”

“Yhh exactly childhood, we haven’t seen each other in a decade”
