Rain
love in four walls.
Her past would come back to haunt her, it always did.
blood covered her hands and the floor littered with shards of broken glass.
karina wasn't sure when her tears started flowing, but when she realised their presence, they didn't stop.
her feet betrayed her, rooted to the floor as the officers chained her wrists together behind her back, blue and red lights from their police cars parked outside blurred as they shone through the window, although karina wasn't sure if it was the glass or her tears.
"No- no this was a mistake let me go- please, please oh my god i have my whole life i-" karina choked out.
----
Karina awoke with a start,
in the same four walls she hated that were surrounding her all the time.
The nightmares wouldn't stop no matter how much medication she tried to take to stop them.
Why couldn't she just be normal? Why couldn't she just live like other people who's minds weren't screwed up like hers?
Sighing, she glanced at the clock. 7.30pm.
Karina sweared she was just going to take a short nap, how did she end up in bed for the whole day?
Karina cursed herself once again.
She couldn't even wake up from naps on time.
On the other side of the hospital was winter, on her way to check on karina.
She groaned, visibly tired and coffee deprived.
It was 8pm and winter had been making rounds all around the hospital the whole day.
Despite her horrible mood, winter reminded herself not to lash out at karina no matter how riled up she got.
Winter knew how important it was that she couldn't get her personal feelings involved with her, whether they were good or bad. That was like a literal suicide wish.
Karina was not okay mentally, not at all, hope of her mind ever being normal was completely gone like 2 years ago, and yet something tugged at the back of winter's head, telling her she needed to know more about the girl, even if it was the last thing she did
Like there was something more to her than a pretty face and screwed up mind.
Winter knew how much of a bad idea it was, stopping herself right there and reminding herself that karina wasn't just a normal cute girl in her class.
Her circumstances were complicated, and winter getting herself involved with her past professional boundaries would result in disaster.
It sounded like winter had started to take a liking to the girl, which should never happen. Never.
Winter stood outside the door seperating her from the girl who spent half her life isolated from the rest of the world.
Composing herself, winter opened the door and walked in, realising she couldn't just stand outside there forever.
"Hey," winter greeted, voice as soft as could get.
"Hi, win."
The girl's sounded fragile, like she was going to break at any second.
"Have you eaten yet?"
"not yet."
"Oh, you should at least try to eat, okay? Even if you're not hungry."
"..."
"Win?" The girl called out for her, voice barely above a whisper.
"Hm?'
"I want to go out. Can you take me somewhere to eat? Please."
Absolutely not. Hell no.
She was not sneaking a mental patient out of the asylum and let her roam freely on the streets of seoul.
"I'm sorry, i can't. I could get you
