Winter woke up due to a heavy weight that suddenly dropped on her stomach, like someone stepped on her.

"Augh–" What happened? We were on the plane...

She blinked, but her muscles were in pain. Too painful that she thinks it wasn't normal. Karina and I were having a small talk... I was about to read. Winter's eyes opened as she remembered what she saw outside the window plane. Like instincts, she sat right up as to run away but the sore muscles were too much and thus she could only manage to sit up.

"O-ow.."

Winter inspects her shoulders and then her body, and soon enough she saw there was a bruise. There were bruises on her body, not too much but definitely much to make her feel pain. Suddenly she hairs a loud screech from afar, it sounded like a bird. Where the heck am I?

"Eh?"

Lo behold there was a monkey infront of her eating a leaf. Why is there a monkey? Wait–

"Am I in the jungle??"

Despite the sore muscles she stood up and frantically looked left and right, taking in the surroundings. "What the hell?"

It didn't seem fake, she took a closer look and inspects the trees and plants and everything else. This is real. I'm not getting pranked. Winter roamed her eyes all around as it suddenly dawned on her that she was all alone. Was she the only one who survived? Why was she not on the plane?

Fear and confusion overwhelmed Winter's thoughts. No, this isn't the time to get all negative. I need to find somebody!

Winter starts running to any where her legs can take her as she calls out to anyone.

"Hello?!"

"Anyone?? Ryujin?!" No answer.

Still, Winter didn't stop from walking and running trying to find anyone.

"Somebody! Is there anyone there??"

"Ryujin?! Somebody! Ningning??" Please anyone just answer me.Winter kept on calling, running, searching for anyone. Why isn't anyone answering...

It took a while until Winter's legs couldn't take it anymore as she drops down on the ground. She was dehydrated and she was hungry. There was no snacks.

She laid down on the ground, "There's no one..."

Is this the end for me?

"I can't walk anymore.. I'm so thirsty." Isn't there a convenience store around?

Ah- a cricket..

*squeak squeak*

Oh a squirrel. Winter stares at the squirrel as it preyed on the cricket.

Lucky for you, you have something to eat... I'm so thirsty –

Just then Winter heard a rustle in the nearby bushes so she looked up and saw something. Huh? What is that thing? What animal is that? It's so huge...

I feel like I've seen that kind of animal before and it makes a mew sounds.

"It looks like a beaver...maybe that's why it's familiar." Wait– if it's a beaver, its probably building a dam.

With all the remaining strength she had, Winter wobbly stood up and followed the "beaver" as it was going somewhere. And that means there's water! I better not lose tail.

"Finally!"

Winter doesn't know if she's that thirsty but the water at the river tastes so good. It felt like she never tasted water this delicious before. She washed her face and some dirt on her arms. After she was done and satisfied, Winter stares at the herd of animals by the river who were also drinking. Just like the "beaver" she saw earlier, the creature she's looking at right now seems familiar yet different.

What is that thing? It looks like a horse... But it's so small. It's like the same size of a dog but it's a horse...

For the nth time Winter looks around, it's really like a jungle. I am really in a jungle...

"Am I really the only one who survived?" No, that can't be.

"Could it be I was the only one who fell out when the plane were cut in half?" Winter sat down by the side of the river as she ponders.

Wait! My phone. She grabs her phone inside her pocket and unlocked it, a slight hope of getting out of the unknown place fills her exhausted mind.

"Good thing I don't use it often and just– oh, there's no service..."

Winter tries different places but not getting too far from the river to get a signal yet to no avail there's none. I guess this is really an uninhabited island. This is bad. This is really bad.

Winter checks her wristwatch. I should be at home right now and eating dinner with my family... Why am I the only one here? Winter couldn't help but dejectedly slumps down on the ground and leaned on a big rock by the river. Could it be I was the only one who survived the crash? What about the others? Are they all dead?

"What about Ryujin.. Ningning... Sungchan..."

A flash of Karina's face suddenly invades Winter's thoughts. Karina was smiling at Winter while they were having conversation on the plane just moments before the crash. Just what was that thing we saw at the plane. It was definitely not a bird... It was too gigantic, it seems like it was the same size of the plane.

As far as Winter knows the biggest bird that can fly is called Wandering Albatross, and it has a wingspan of  3.7 meters or 12 ft. The thing she saw was definitely way over than that. Were we just hallucinating things or could it be–oak!

Winter quickly stood up as she suddenly heard a sound coming from afar.

"What was that?"

She checks behind the big rock that she was resting on, "I think I heard something..."

Winter stares at the deep jungle, waiting for another sound and hoping she wasn't hallucinating or going crazy and just then– "oak!"

A– A human voice!!

There's hope. Winter hurriedly ran towards the sound filled with hope and excitement. She couldn't help but smile despite being exhausted, being exhausted was an understatement because she feels like she's been three a week's worth of practice of hapkido.

Nonetheless, she persisted.

She is excited to see another human being again. She is excited to see her friends. She's excited being rescued. She's excited to finally get home and sleep on her comfortable bed. Winter hopes that it was really one of her classmates, it'd be better if she finds her childhood friend, Ryujin. Well, it doesn't matter who it is... As she run towards the sound, she hears it clearer and clearer until a huge leaf was the only thing that separates Winter and the source of the sound. The most important thing is there's someone else besides me who's alive and safe! With a huge hopeful and twinkle smile on her face, Winter ran past the leaf and saw it.

OAKK!!!  Huh???

A huge ostrich bird is front of Winter instead of a human being. Winter stares at it's huge beak and huge muscles hind legs, it was like a bird with it's beak and head while a chicken with it's body. It was staring at Winter too, seemingly on guard by the sudden appearance. It's so huge, it's like over 2-3 meters tall... But
