Strange. Though the mansion is big enough to get lost in, surely all their guests must have been escorted out properly the night before. He found her wandering  by the fountain. He was out to take a smoke, hiding under the shadows of the tall trees that were surrounding them., He had his cigarette resting between his lips but instead of lighting them, he caught himself staring at the pretty maiden wandering their estate.

Watching her closely, she seemed lost. He approached her, trying not to sound too forward. He led her through the main hall and asked her how she wanted to go home. He did not expect her to fall all of a sudden.

Maybe he should be a little more concerned that this stranger might have other motives, but by the way she looks, it is impossible that she has any ill intentions.

Minho carried her to one of their guest rooms and had one of their attendants watch over her. 

A few hours later he was informed that the girl is now awake, although she looks as though she is still in shock.

“Hi, are you okay?”

“Yes. I am.”

“May I ask for your name?”

“Bae, Joohyun Bae.”

Minho hums at her name. It doesn’t ring a bell, and yet feels all too familiar.

“Do you want us to reach out to your family? You seem too weak to go home on your own.”

“Family? I don’t have a family”

The way she speaks is too eloquent for their time. He feels as though he is talking to his grandma. His curiosity is now at its peak.

“How did you get here?”
