The night before..

It’s suspiciously weird for Yuqi receiving a text from her manager informing her that him and Lucas’s manager will be waiting for her at Lucas’s room to leave together from there when the parking lot basement usually the first spot comes to mind

Yuqi sent a text back consideration of the option incase her manager experience some kind of a sudden amnesia unable to remember a thing about it, but didn’t get a reply or call till the very moment she’s all set to go

“Wan shang hao”, the housekeeper friendly greets Yuqi as she strode out from her room to the elevator lobby

Yuqi greeted the housekeeper back, “Good evening”, making a turn to go one floor down to where Lucas’s room is located at

It didn’t take Lucas long to answer to Yuqi’s door bell because he’s been anticipating her arrival, “Yuci”, him opening the door and widens it for her to enter

Wow. He looks nice, Yuqi’s mind speaks seeing Lucas behind the door wearing a semi formal wear and slicked back hairstyle, “Where are we planning to eat anyways?”, she questions stepping inside the room and notice something odd

There is no sign of her manager and his manager anywhere. Instead. She saw a table dine in that’s been set for 2 near the open curtains window, neatly decorated complete with a flameless flickering candlelight in the middle that’s already on

Yuqi auto put the pieces of puzzle together to try figuring everything out

Start from Lucas requesting her to wear something nice, him showing up looking nice, his room as their departure spot and last but not least, the table in his room

Yuqi got the answer and positively sure she has solved the mystery because everything made sense, “It’s just us isn’t it?”, she turns back to Lucas with a squint eyes waiting for an answer

Lucas approaches Yuqi with a smile lending some help with her coat, “May i?”, to hang it neatly in the closet while telling an interesting story of his and her manager suggesting the two go have dinner together without their company to make up for separating their flight schedule and airport location to China

The story took place between the hours of practice on the set of Chase Me. When Yuqi, the crew and staff weren't anywhere near around to eavesdrop. Just them three in the changing room

Lucas’s manager contributed to an idea, “Arrange the dinner somewhere private”, and could’t think anywhere else private other than one of their rooms

Like a real big brother, Yuqi’s manager objects grasping onto Lucas’s right shoulder, thrown off guard by the idea of thinking it’d be a good one putting his little sister in a room with a boy for more than half an hour

Lucas’s manager cajoles Yuqi’s manager that the two will be fine and nothing out of the ordinary will happen, “I’m sure the boy need more than an hour to make that kind of moment special because he’s still a vir—”

Lucas winces at Yuqi's manager handgrips tightness, feeling the need to jump in to interrupt the conversation before his manager unintentionaly spills tea over the place, again, “Ok. Let me take it from here”

Eventually, Lucas came to an agreement of a promise to Yuqi’s manager to behave throughout the night, “If I break it, I will be grounded”, he proceeds and assist Yuqi to her seat like those perfect gentleman in korean drama’s

Yuqi titters visualizing the conversation in her head from the beginning to end

“Wow”, Yuqi then breathes gazing out the window to the beautiful scenery that night from Lucas’s room

Lucas straight away felt a slight of joy espies Yuqi taking a moment to glimpse and enjoy the view he purposely arrange for it to happen

Lucas POV’s

At that time when the room service came to my room to prepare the table, I already have the perfect image to where I want it to be placed, intending to recreate the pictures of atmosphere in my head that I aim for it to become real

It’s clear the circumscribed situation didn’t stop me to aspire myself making the date indelible and impressive as if we’re at a fancy restaurant enjoying our dinner

I have the desire to utilize the chance we got because it’s not often we get to meet and date

So..

I set the two things I asked manager hyung to get me as soon as the room service staff excuses himself out

A petal of red rose to arrange around the table and a candlelight to add the vibes in the middle, flammable or flameless?, he asked before purchased

I ended up choosing to go with the safest, “Batteries”, for the sake of safety even though i’d love to go with the real ones

After setting the table, I open the curtain wide, dim out the lights letting the city lights and hidden stars appear more contrast

Lastly I did was pray she comes on time so the authentic healthy chinese dishes I ordered doesn’t go cold when we start eating them

Lucas tells Yuqi he had the thought of ordering steak but decided it would better to order something that’s less heavy to avoid looking and feeling bloated the next day

“It’s delicious”, Yuqi shaking her head not minding one bit while savoring every bite saying it kind of reminds her of home, “I appreciates what you done here, Lucas”, and truthfully continue on admitting she likes it more if he takes her on a tteokbokki date next time, “Hot pot sounds nice also”, giving him another option

“You just finish every dish in front of you and yet you still manage to think of the food we should eat on the next date?”, Lucas light heartly jokes b
