It hasn’t been 5 minutes since Lucas’s arrival to his hotel room, yet, he’s already thinking of wanting to call Yuqi. She clearly told him a day before his departure that he needs to focus on work and he can contact her when he gets back. But Lucas couldn’t wait that long so he’ll bring up Soyeon’s birthday as an excuse on why he has to make the call because Yuqi didn’t inform him when she could yesterday. Instead, he had to discover it through her Weibo page

 

All that’s left is checking the time differences between Dubai with South Korea

 

While Lucas counts, Ten, who is staying in a separate room next to Lucas, is doing a little room tour recording with the cam recorder that was lent over earlier that day by one of Label V’s staff for him and Lucas to document some footages of their trip for WayV’s youtube vlog content

 

Since they’re only staying for 2 nights, Ten and Lucas discussed and agreed on making use of the 1st day in Dubai to get the content that’s needed so on the 2nd day, both can fully rest and recharge after the music video filming

 

“Hi Lucas” Ten calls catching Lucas head peeking out from his room balcony, “Say hi to the camera” he kept the camera focus on Lucas

 

Lucas smiles widely and waves, “Hi” and greets it

 

“Can I go to your room?” Ten asked

 

“Yeah” Lucas replies

The first Queendom competition stage is just around the corner. Each group and a soloist whose participating are all busy preparing for their performance

 

(G)i-dle been roaming around Cube’s building and dance studio since morning, practicing to get to the level of perfection that they’re aiming for

 

They are now currently on their second short break of the day and the midst of it, Soyeon opens a little circle of discussion whether the choreography for song mixing needs any more adding or changing while there’s still time to, “Just to spice it up more maybe?” she asked

 

Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Yuqi and Shuhua stare at each other and have the same thought that the spice scale is already perfect and it’s not necessary to add in more

 

“I think what we need is not to tense ourselves with it” said Soojin and the others nods their head agreeing with her statement

 

Soyeon giggles softly and apologized for not being able to hide her competitive side and energy. She can’t deny to the members that the Queendom process is bringing her memories back

 

The memories Soyeon is referring to are the other survival shows she participated back in the days that ended up giving her “Survival Born Monster” nickname

 

Compared to those shows, Queendom, for her, have an amount of pressure the others didn’t have, “Not saying it in a bad way—” she said and explain further why, “Maybe because this time I won’t be going alone and we will bring (G)i-dle’s name with it”

 

Hearing Soyeon doesn’t want to disappoint the members and also their fans later on, Miyeon, Minnie, Soojin, Yuqi and Shuhua gather closer to give her a big hug, telling her to stop stressing herself out because this time, they got each other to help bring out the best of them for the audience to see

Ten went back inside his room and walked towards the door where Lucas have already waited for him to open

 

“Show me your room” Ten follows Lucas to his room

 

Lucas briefly tells Ten and the camera there wasn’t any much difference inside except the bed and bathroom position that’s opposite to Ten’s, like any other hotel structural is

 

Ten doesn’t mind and keeps on recording every angle of it for the content sake. But he did shorten it out because he got to save the battery for later

 

“Is it off?” Lucas asking just to reassure that it really is. Ten convince him by handing it over to him to check and asked why. Lucas answer with a name that’s been mentioned quite often lately in Ten’s ears, “Yuci”

 

Ten tells Lucas he wonders why the two insist waiting and not just make it official already because it’s obvious they have feelings for each other, “Stop torturing your soul and court her” he sighs lightly stepping away to give Lucas’s privacy space back, “Don’t take too long” and reminds him there's still places and activity to do before exiting out of the room

 

“Let me see” Lucas rechecks the time before making the call, “It’s 14:09 here means 19:09 there” he says looking down to his phone

Like any other day after a long practice, Yuqi, Miyeon and Shuhua does  rock paper scissors to choose who gets the bathroom in order

 

Yuqi got first, Miyeon second and Shuhua third but because of a sudden and unexpected call, Yuqi is forced to give her spot to either Miyeon or Shuhua

 

Shuhua who is the nearest to the towel rack take her towel and walks directly to the bathroom, “What do you think your doing?” Miyeon blocks Shuhua way with her right arm

 

“Bathroom” Shuhua reply very casually

 

Miyeon turns Shuhua around back to the towel rack, “If you don’t mind, can you please get my towel for me?”

 

“Don’t take too long—” Shuhua get’s Miyeon towel and put back her’s, “Or I will barge in and force unnie to finish” and hands it over to Miyeon

 

Miyeon and Shuhua’s conversation disappears as Yuqi shut her room door to accept Lucas’s video call

 

“Lucas” Yuqi greets him removing her sling bag and throws it to the side

 

Why didn’t you tell me about Soyeon’s birthday yesterday?, Lucas stays consistent with his arrangement of dialogue

 

Yuqi sits herself down on her desk chair and places the phone on a holder, “I’m sorry what?”

 

Lucas raises a brow and squints his eyes, Soyeon’s birthday, he repeated, I could’ve congratulate Soyeon when I have the chance to yesterday

 

“Just call her. It’s not that late to” Yuqi suggested

 

How? I don’t know her number, Lucas lied

 

Yuqi faintly smiles knowing a fact that Lucas already have and saved Soyeon’s contact number because Soyeon told her the next day after Lucas visited her that night but Yuqi is interested to see how far Lucas can keep up with his act, “I can give it to you now” she decides to join in the play

 

What?, Lucas wasn’t ready for that kind of reaction, Where are you going?, he asked seeing her getting up from her seat

 

“Call Soyeon unnie”, Yuqi smiles, “Tell her that you insist congratulating her in person”, she lures him into her trap so he’ll give up soon. Judging from his expression, she’s convinced it’s will only take seconds to, “Unnie!”

 

Yuci, Lucas calls her but got ignored by Yuqi, Yuci, he calls her again watching her vanishing from the screen, It’s only an excuse. Soyeon wasn’t really the main priority to call you, it’s you, he exclaims, but because you said—

 

“I wasn’t expecting that details of a confession” Yuqi appears back to the screen and laug
