it's okay; sehun/krystal
Wanderlust | A Oneshot Collection“It’s okay to kiss me. We are dating, after all.” Soojung said.
They were going out for a few months already, Sehun and Soojung. He was a law student and most of the time, he’s in a coffee shop reading assigned cases and writing notes. Soojung was a med student, the type to never go out of the dorm unless she has a class to attend to. She’s boarding in the school so technically, she rarely goes out of the school at all. Unless, she have to change the rim of her eyeglasses or other necessary things.
She also found it annoying how students like him chose to study in crowded coffee shops when there’s the library standing just in front of the college of law building and him needing to at least maximize the tuition fees he paid for his education.
A few days after going out together as a couple, a thought slipped into her mind how almost it seemed impossible for them to date. They had different taste in music, Soojung loves rnb while Sehun likes it metal. They had no common interests except for the fact that both of them love studying so much. They were not even in the same circle of friends. In fact, Sehun and Soojung just happened to attend a book launch of Ho Ji Soo, Sehun’s previous adviser in high school and Jinri’s, the other girl boarding with her, uncle. Ho Ji Soo was about to set his favorite student up with Jinri but it failed immediately when Jinri informed her uncle she’s already seeing someone. Without thinking twice, Jinri introduced Soojung instead and even left her alone with him.
“You didn’t have to leave me, Jinri. It wasn’t necessary!”
“I’ve heard he’s a law student in our school and you’re already 24. Give it a try, Soojung. With all my heart, i don’t want you to die a .”
“Shut up, Jinri. Come pick me up. We;re at a coffee shop near S Bookshop.”
“Can you just drink your coffee and make conversations with him? And please, stop texting me. Focus. Enjoy!”
It turned out he was a great person. He has this lisp which bothered Soojung at first but later on realized how sensible of a person he is. She loved it when he talks about the things he learned in his classes over the phone. For some people it might be boring but Sehun made it sound interesting and even used terms which a non-law student like herself would easily understand.
Most of the times, they just send messages. “Have you eaten lunch?” “How was your day?” “Did you finish your paper?” “Did you ace the exam?”
Sometimes, they see each other every other friday night. Go out for a movie or just eat at their usual restaurant. Usually, they just order take-out fastfood together especially when they have lessons to study for.
Jinri once mentioned they would not last long, say two months or so.
But they lasted for more than two months now. And it’s not like Soojung is counting how many more months she could take.
“It’s okay to kiss me, Sehun.” Soojung whispered.
They were watching the sun set together. She remembered that this exact s
