AUTHOR’s POV

Sooyoung and Yuri entered the car.

“Yuri-ah, free your schedule tonight.

You’ll come with me to the event and drive again for me to our meeting.” Sooyoung said to Yuri.

She’s feeling kinda dizzy and can’t breathe properly.

“Yaah! I have a dinner date with Yoona tonight!” Yuri replied.

“Then cancel it!” Sooyoung quickly answered Yuri.

Yuri dialed Yoona’s number.

“Yaaah!! You can’t talk to someone while driving!!” Sooyoung shouted as she tries to reach Yuri’s phone.

“Yah! Yaaaaah! Relax Sooyoung. It’s in handsfree mode.” Yuri answered,

“Hello?” Yoona answered the call.

“Yoona, honey, I have to cancel our dinner tonight.Mianhe.” Yuri said to Yoona.

“Wae? It’s alright. Let’s just reschedule it honey.” Yoona answered.

“It’s because my mean boss wants me to be her driver for the night. Aish. Meanie!” Yuri told Yoona.

“Yah Yuri! I heard that!! I’m with you remember?!” Sooyoung shouted to Yuri.

“Oh how can I forget?! You’re shouting at me right now!! Aish.” Yuri said.

Yoona heard the conversation and giggled. “You two are so childish. It’s okay.

You’re still hot even if you’re a driver for tonight. Saranghae Yuri-ah.” Yoona said to Yuri.

“Saranghae Yoona. I’ll hang up now, arasso? Bye.” Yuri ended the call.

Yuri looked at Sooyoung.

“Sooyoung. Yah. Are you okay? You look pale.” Yuri asked Sooyoung.

“Don’t mind me. Mind your driving pabo.” Sooyoung replied.

Suddenly, Sooyoung phone rang. It’s her father.

“Hello Appa.”

“Sooyoung, where are you? The event already began.”

“Mianhe. I’m own my way. I just finish my meeting. I’m with Yuri.”

“Wae are you with Yuri?”

“She’s driving for me. I can’t drive.”

“Wae?”

“I’ll explain it later when I arrive.” Sooyoung said just to avoid explaining about what happened to her.

“Arasso. Be safe. Bye.”

“Bye.”

Sooyoung ended the call.

Yuri continued to drive until they reach the hotel.

TIFFANY’s POV

I went home to get ready for tonight’s event.

Sooyoung is supposed to pick me up at 6 p.m.

I’m now wearing a mini black shiny dress when I decided to check my phone.

From: Appa

Miyoungie, get yourself ready.

I’m own my way to pick you up.

What? Sooyoung is supposed to pick me up.

To: Appa

Wae? I thought Sooyoung will pick me up.

From: Appa

She didn’t tell you? She can’t pick you up.

She said she’ll gonna be late because she has

prior engagements.

To: Appa

Arasso. I’m ready.

What? Prior engagements?? It’s obvious that she’s avoiding me.

Aish. She’s been ignoring me for hours.

My father came to pick me up.

We arrived at the hotel but Sooyoung is still not there.

Uncle Choi saw us and went to us.

“Hey Tiffany.” Uncle Choi greeted me.

“Hello Uncle Choi.” I greeted him back.

“Is Sooyoung here already?” I continued.

“Anio. She’s still on her way. She’s with Yuri.” He replied.

“Huh? Yuri? Wae?” I asked again.

“She said Yuri is driving for her. She said she can’t drive.” He answered.

“Can’t drive? It is because of her injury?” I said in my mind.

“Oh! She’s here already.” Uncle Choi pointed the door.

Sooyoung walks toward us and bowed.

“Hello Uncle Hwang. Mianhe I’m late” She said as she take a glance and looked away.

“It’s alright. So how are you? What happened to you hand?” Appa asked as she saw Sooyoung’s hand.

“Oh. This. It’s nothing. I’m just so clumsy.” Sooyoung replied to him.

I can see that her hand is still bleeding.

The white cloth that is wrapped around it is already red.

“You should be careful next time then. You should go to a doctor to have that hand a checkup.” Appa said.

“Ne. I will Uncle. Appa, Uncle. May you please excuse me? I have to talk to some guests here.” She said.

“Arasso.”Appa and Uncle Choi said simultaneously.

Sooyoung left us and wandered the hotel.

She has some conversations with some businessmen and businesswomen present in the event.

I wanted to talk to her but I don’t know how.

Crap. I really miss her so much.

She didn’t even look at me.

Not even once.

I just keep looking at her while she talks to those people.

I can see Sooyoung smiling and laughing while having a chat with them.

I can tell that she’s enjoying their company.
